My other thread got me thinking about this.. Do you live by anyone famous? I mean within like a half hour.Or maybe the have a summer getaway home. Don't post if someone famous lives more than 1 hour away. I saw Bruce Willis at the mall once, but I'm not quite sure if he was living here or getting away from Hollywood. |

Do people born in your hometown count? Because (and I know I'm repeating myself) Alex Trebek, Todd Bertuzzi, Toe Blake, Brian Savage (who lives here in the off-season) and Michelle Wright (country singer) were all born here. But that's it. I think. Oh, wait. The family of Jonathan Cheechoo (he plays for San Jose) lives here. |

I live really close to Jackson Hole. And Harrison Ford lives there! Also a lot of other really cool people have summer homes there. |

Well, a Major League pitcher named Rollie Fingers, famous for his handle-bar moustache, used to live down the street from me. And a guy who's the newscaster lives down the street. But once while I was in Malibu for my brother's concert, we saw Keanu Reeves, and someone else famous during the same lunch trip. We also saw the Padre's closer Trevor Hoffman at a supermarket near us. And Tony Gwynn lives in Poway. Which is like 10 minutes from my house. |

I visited my Grandpa once and he lives quite close to a LOT of movie stars. I live near a few pro athletes, not sure which at the moment. |

All the big country stars are always being seen walking around town, since Nashville is Music City. |

My old science teacher lived next to a famous baseball player, and my cousin saw Diana DeGarmo at the mall once. |

I do believe I just said Nashville. And a quick Google search will show you that Nashville, or Music City, is the capital of Tennessee. |

Well, I have seen SU basketball players Craig forth (lanky and idiotic are too good of words for him) and Carmello Anthony. That, and local SU basketball legend Dwayne 'The Pearl' Washington helped make fun of our rather short friend once at the mall once while at the movies. It was freaking great. |

My friend from school might be in a Cap'n Crunch commercial, and I presume she lives less than a half-hour from me, so, I guess that counts. |

I was waiting to see who'd be the first to take it literally! My bet was on you or IJ. Actually, when I first saw this thread, I thought it meant "Are you interested in astrology?" |

My almost next door neighbor is Cory Stringer, or he used to be, until he died. He played on the Minnesota Vikings. Not much of a star or anything, but at least it's someone. |

I live near... the only famous person that I would think of is children's book author Avi. Unless my governor counts, who lives in my hometown. |

Oh yeah, once the person who did one of the voices on Blues Clues came to my church. It was either the shovel or the pail, but I can't remember which. |
