So many people have been spazzin' about this in the Bragging thread, so I mights as well make a thread dedicated to this. For those of you who don't know, I'm going to Japan this summer. The Specs: Who- Me and some other 8th graders. What- I'm goin' to Japan. Where- Japan. When-July 4th through 18th Why- I take japanese and this is a special field trip. How- With 3000 dollars of Bar Mitzvah money of course! My first real meeting is tommorow, so I can get more info then. |

I've been there, but I was 6 months old. (Buisness trip {not me, my dad!}) You're lucky. Japenese is hard. Gosh, more than one alphabet..Jeez.. But, You get used to it. |

I do pretty good in class, so the kanji doesn't really bother me much. And TG, some folk say you're obsessive compulsive. And I've always hoped to see domo-kun there, TCOC. I had my first meeting today, so I knows more things. |

I'm visiting quite a lot of places. They include: Kyoto Station Kyoto Ginza Tokyo Harajuku And some random host family's house along with temples 'n such. And for teh Japanese chicks, I'll try to meet some but the subways are split up by gender for not mentionable reasons.... Let's just say that sometimes people get ogled.... |
