SOCE!! You're back! It's been like, 2 months!

And yeah, Serj definitely has a Weird Al thing going on. I guess it's just the long hair, though.

Just realised that this is the first time I've actually seen Weird Al... ^^

I'm not overly fond of SOAD... Though their newest track is slightly better than any of their older stuff (IMO).

Eh... no he didn't. That picture is around 2 years old (at Ozzfest), and since Serj still had the beard during SNL a few weeks ago, there's no reason so worry.

On the nose. I actually made the banner myself thanks to the magic of SNES emulation.

I do not in any way endorse illegal emulation of games, but I sure find it easier than buying them offa eBay.

I got Mezmerize on friday and I have to say that it is awsome. People who lived and died by Toxicity might not like it that much but my music tastes have latitude.

My favoites so far are Radio/Video and Old School Hollywood.

Mezmerize is awesome, I bought it this past Thursday. It is in my car's CD player until I see fit to remove it.

I really dig their off-the-wall style - they're really one of the few bands to do anything interesting with modern metal when you think about it, although I can easily see how their over-the-topness can grate. I just love how they pack a whole bunch of ideas, melodies and energy into short song lengths. I'm not a huge fan of their first album so much, but their other three rock the house - I just heard Mesmerize recently and it kicks. "B.Y.O.B." in particular is a CLASSIC song, and I just can't get that chorus to leave my head. "Radio/Video" and a few others are great too.

Did you know that Old shool hollywood is bassed on Daron's baseball game along with other celebrities like Jack Giladi and Frankie Avelon

Toxicity is the best CD I own. SOAD is tex roxors :p . My favorite sing from them.....Chop seuy! defenetly. I mean, the ballad like harmony and good sounding-ness of the chorus is just unmatchable.

I'm in complete agreement here. System of a Down's tough, sheer, acerbically humorous, take-no-prisoners theatricality seems quite lacking in so many bands these days. And if a rock band can sing and growl and think at the same time, I'm THERE. Who doesn't adore a group that can make you laugh AND get you going?

DIEEEEEEEEE. RAAAAAAAAAH. Lyrics to live by, man.

I've never heard rage against the machine. Are they the same type of music? If so, i'll go buy them NOW.

I couldn't stand Zach De La Roca's voice, but I can Serj Tankian's voice much better.

I bought "Mezmerize" right after it came out, but I didn't listen to it very much. However, Yesterday I popped Mezmerize in my car's CD player, and IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!

I can't wait for "Hypnotize" either.
