Hmmm.... Favorites... WOW, where to start. I have about 20 years of gaming under my belt, so this is gonna be a toughie. I can't list a favorite, but, I guess I could narrow it down to 10 or so. Strike Commander (Origin, PC)... Great story, awesome gameplay, and really good acting. Full Throttle (Lucasarts, PC) WOW... This game just blew me away. Incredible soundtrack by The Gone Jackals. Incredibly awesome story. Great humor. Sam and Max Hit the Road (Lucasarts, PC) Ok, anyone who knows me knows that the incredibly demented humor of this game fits me to a t. I love the puzzles you have to solve, too. Super Smash Brothers Melee (Nintendo, GameCube) Wonderful fighting, wonderful music, wonderful characters, ok, the whole game is wonderful. I bought a GameCube just for this game! Master of Orion (Microprose, PC) The perfect strategy game. Multiple difficulties, a variety of races, different universe sizes, and random universe generation means you can play this game OVER AND OVER. Contra (Konami, NES) Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left Right, B, A, Start! Mike Tyson's Punchout (Nintendo, NES) 007-373-5963... Oh, the useless crap we remember. Wing Commander: Privateer (Origin, PC) Although the entire series (as well as pretty much anything else made by Chris Roberts) roxorz my soxorz, Privateer barely edges out Wing Commander 3 as my favorite. Road Rash (Sega, Genesis) Motorcycles + Racing + fighting = good game. We used to play this one for hours 7th Guest (Virgin Interactive, PC) Even though most people see Myst as one of the greats of its time, I think 7th Guest completely whips it. ...and it had that song: "Just take... The time.... To find out what's inside... Away from all this wind, and rain..."

Hmm ther ewas this commodore 64 game "swiss faimly robinson" we played in class many years ago. Took a while to master but we never beat it. Afterwards my logic improved and I found an emulator and used that to not only beat the game but master it quite well. There's this golf game on my computer from 1990 I used to play 8 years ago. Graphics are all pixellated of course, VGA mode or whatnot. But the graphics don't get in the way of the gameplay. It's hilarious to see somebody complete the swing yet the ball's on the ground for a split second before launching. That's a classic. Got my first hole-in-one recently Only system I have is N64 and of that four games, all great ones. Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, Super Smash Bros. Some reason I don't like SSB Melee, unfortunately. I highly prefer original SSB which is a classic between me and a long time friend because we'd do so much wacky stuff.

You've gotten me drooling.... I love those games. Pretty much anything Chris Roberts did turned to gold!! I love Privateer. Not only did you have the Kilrathi to deal with, but you also had to deal with Pirates, Retros, Mercenaries, Merchants, and the Confederation.... I loved WC 3, too. It was one of the first games I remember that used almost cinematic quality video. Oh yeah, it also had Malcolm McDowell and Mark Hamill... Who'da thunk it?
