Wireless controllers. Total wavebird copycat. Err... no? Wireless controllers have been around since the Super Nintendo (I actually have one for it), so really, it's just a convenience and a nice thing to have, and not a copy of any "Wavebird" thing. |

Hey, hear is an article about the X-box thingamjigger: http://stuffo.howstuffworks.com/three-sixty.htm Oh man... I love http://www.howstuffworks.com Cool stuff! Once I here how much it costs, I'll think about buying one. All my Aunts and uncles (who are about 23, all of them) have X-boxes, and it would be fun to play with them. (With the Free X-box live) |

Considering both the first photo of the 360 was at the Xbox360 Revealed party, and Microsoft released the other photos, it's pretty unlikely that this is a fake. |

Modestly Hot Bot v.2.0 + wrote: say, speaking of wireless controllers, are the new X-Box3 controllers gonna need batteries? Well, yes, it's going to need batteries. It's wireless, how else will it be powered? Anyway, that big lump on the bottom is undoubtedly where the batteries go. If they're smart they'll make it rechargeable with some sort of cradle, but that would also push up the price so who knows. SEAN'D! wrote: Are they still doing the thing where there areb three types of consoles, one with a hard-drive, one that needs memory cards and another one? Since I don't have cable, I didn't watch the TV special last night (nor would I have anyway), but from the video it looks like the console comes without a hard drive but there's a hard drive attachment you can buy (or maybe get bundled). It looks pretty slick, actually, a little box the size and shape of a PDA (probably a laptop drive in there) that just snaps onto the side/top of the Xbox. ed 'lim' smilde wrote: asept maybe halo 2
I don't nitpick spelling or grammar much these days, buy "asept"?? |

Ugh. Be glad you didn't. "Hey, welcome to MTV's Xbox 360 Revealed! Now, forget about the console and be hypnotized by the flashy lights and propaganda!" Ugh. I love the Xbox, but this was disgusting. Sway: "Oh, this is SICK! It has a REMOVABLE FACEPLATE!!??!" Me: "Show me some game footage BEFORE I GET SICK!!!" |

As funny as it is now, last night I was ticked! I was like "This crap has nothing to do with video games. This is STUPID." But I'm the kinda guy that wants to crack open a console and poke around with the guts of it... |

That's me, too. I never would have bought an Xbox if I hadn't seen my girlfriend's brother-in-law's Xbox, on which he has thousands of old console and arcade games, a ton of movies, and stuff like Halo trainers. Anymore I use it almost exclusively for watching TV (though recent events have put a temporary damper on that, grr), but on occasion I bust out Mario Pinball, and my girlfriend is fond of the Mario-themed RPGs (e.g. Paper Mario), old and new. |

That Article wrote: The Xbox 360™ is the future of entertainment. With the most stunning games, powerful technology, and intelligent services, Xbox 360 puts you at the center of your entertainment experience.
Connect and express. Collaborate and compete. Play the most compelling games. Watch DVD movies. Enjoy digital music, photos, and videos in an integrated entertainment system. Xbox 360 also opens the door to incredible new high-definition entertainment. Experience Xbox 360 games in HD. Stream HD television and movies straight from your Windows Media Center Edition PC to your Xbox 360. You know what puts me at the center of my entertainment experience? Not Xbox. Nintendo, baby. Though I wonder what Microsoft is gonna do with this one? I predict that Bill Gates will use it to try to conquer the world, but then Nintendo and Sony will form and unlikely allience, and and, and... Ok, I'm done. |

Here's the funny part: I already do this with my old-and-janky used Xbox. And I don't even have a "Windows Media Center Edition PC". Just a regular compy and a regular old Xbox. Egh. |

Here come the men in black from Macrosloth, IJ, and it looks like they're toting some REALLY big automatic weapons. You should run, now! You know as much as I try to get hyped up about the 360, I just can't. It's nothing against Microsoft, or anything like that. I can't even get hyped for the PS3... I think my sense of excitement is broken. |

I'm not too interested in the new Xbox (could you tell from my comment above?), and that article has to be one of the most biased thing I've ever read (yeah, I know it was on Xbox.com, but still). I'll hold out for a new Nintendo system 'till the end of time.
NOTE: HOLY CRAP! NEW NINTENDO?! (Sorry For Typing in all Caps) |

Here's an idea...don't come into a thread like this just to flame. The "pathetic." post was warranted, and it belongs here. Everything else, knock it off. Ya want my opinion? Console makers don't give a carp about gamers. Game developers do. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo only want to make a few bucks, and that's about it. It's the people who make the games that get played on the systems that care about what the gamers think. They want us to be entertained, and if they make a few (million) bucks, great! This whole problem is what prompted me to create yet ANOTHER site that puts the focus where it belongs: The gamers. Hence the URL...GamerFocus.com. Anyway, I'm still stoked about the Xbox 360, not because of the system itself, but because I know there are gonna be some truly top notch games coming out on it, like Halo 3 and Perfect Dark Zero. Although I believe that Halo 1 will never be beaten gameplay-wise, I'm still excited to see what the future holds for the ole Master Chief. |
