No, this is not about the movie, but about the epic five/six-part space trilogy! Anyone else out there fans of these marvelous works of art by Douglas Adams? Post here!

Personally I find them an interesting-and hilarious- perspective of our world and all the mysteries surrounding it, usually answered religiously but not here! And also, so many glimpses into other worlds besides our own. I find it one of the best "series" (although its not really a "series"- mor of a "sequence") of adult/children's literature out there!

I love this series. I had never heard of it until I saw it at Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I got the huge omnibus edition for $5. What a deal it was.

They are the funniest novels (except "Catch-22") I've ever read. I read them maybe once a year.

Favorite part: When Arthur and Ford are stranded on prehistoric Earth, and they have to catch the sofa.

888th post, by the way.

I only read the first 3 books. The 4th just bored me.
