Have you ever prank called anyone? I haven't, but I made this thread anyways.

I watched while my friend prank called a 1-800 number... A-like so... Japanese person answers: "Hello?" My friend: "The leperechauns... They're coming... they... they're going to bite off my fingers! I, I stole their gold! No, no, don't touch me! They... they're grimy fingers are all over me! Nooo! Ouch! Ouch! Get off me you little people! Augh!" 1-800 lady: "Sir? Sir?" *long pause* My friend: "Have you had YOUR haggis today?" *Hangs up* |

I once just called some girl I really didn't like several times and hung up when she answered. I was on a private number, so that's ok! I know a guy once who called from a phone box, he called 000 (equivalent to 911) and said he was having a seizure in the phone box and bashed the receiver against the wall a few times and made the relevant screaming noises. He hung up. Because it was a public phone box they were able to trace the call and they sent an ambulance. Meanwhile, said guy is sitting at a nearby bus stop watching the medicos search for the epileptic guy. |

I don't really remember making any great prank calls.I DID have one backfire on me once. I was about 10 at the time. I called someone and made up a name "Is Charlie there? (or something like that)" and the lady on the other end was like "yeah, just a second", and she puts this really little kid on the phone. It was weird. |

Oh, so that's who it was!!
I am too much of a wimp to prank call someone. I get scared just dialing a phone in fear of a wrong number, so purposely pushing in wrong number wouldn't be cool. |

Another person felt my wrath as I did my Homsar impersonation. The last one got my Strong Bad impersonation about the baby seals. It was great.

There was this one time when I was over at my friend's house and we were calling the numbers on food product labels trying to get an actual person we could prank (as opposed to, ya know, a machine). We finally got one after dialing the Folger's number, but I chickened out and hung up. I'm really not a very good prank caller at all. I either panic and forget what I'm supposed to say, or I start laughing when the prankee answers the phone. |

I got pranked last year- it was really funny: the phone rang "hi, can i have a chicken balti and ..." (me) "i think you've got the wrong number" i hung up bout 3 seconds later the phone rings "hello?" the same thing happened the next time it happened, i played along "can i take your order please?" then i hung up Then they rang again- so i picked up, and yelled "your mom" down the phone. so it happened 1 more time, when i said "look- just stop phoning me" "you've got a nice voice, can i have your number?" "look im twelve so... go away!" ( i was twelve at the time) phew, glad i got that off my chest |

Sorry, I do that a lot. It's also nice to call someone and tell them not to answer their phone because of workers working on a wire on your street, then call them over and over untill they answer. Then pretend to be shocked to death and making a "Thud!" noise.

I called my mom's work once and pretended to be a really annoying customer. Also, one of my friends always carries his cell phone everywhere, so sometimes I call it when I'm right next to him (hiding the phone). Sometimes I call him in school, sometimes when he just came to my house and he's riding it back home. It gets him every time. |

I like to go in the back room at my work and use my cell phone and call my work. My boss will answer, then I'll say something really stupid, only to drive him crazy. |

This one is really funny if someone has call waiting. Call them on one phone and while they're talking to you, call them on another phone. |

When my Dad was a kid he made a prank call to the fire station. When they picked up the phone, he sang "There'll be a hot time in the old town tonight!" (which is a song, I guess). Well, that night a restaurant exploded. I guess, like from gas leakage. There was a waitress who ended up acrooss the street. Just a coincidence with my Dad's prank call, but well, freaky.
