I get sick if I eat too many blackberries.
I live pretty near a jam factory. In the summer, you wake up every morning to the smell of burning strawberries... Mmm...

Well, it's blackberry season where I live. Picked and ate over a hundred wild blackberries yesterday, ate about eighty or something today. Anyone else have blackberries to eat? And if so, are you going crazy over them before they disappear for the rest of the year? |

no, I'm not sure where they grow around here. I pick raspberries somethetimes. I like those. |

I live in New York State we have the best strawberries in the world. I can't wait for them to be in season, I'll go medieval on a pint. Our grapes are awesome too. |

Oh my great gravy. In East Texas, the blackberries grow wilder than STD's on Paris Hilton. I've picked huge ones on occasion, and I have a bad habit of eating them right off the prickly viney thingy. My mom used to hate that: "Josh, Stop eating those things without washing them! You'll get the heeby jeebies!!" |

Those were right off the vine. It tastes really good if you get like eight ripe blackberries at once, and then stuff them in your mouth. Chew and swallow. Delicious! |
