Eh...

So. I found this rather large bug in my bathtub today. Apparently, it had crawled through my drain.

I hate bugs. More than you think you know. So I had to call my mother up to get it out. Some of it's legs are scattered across the tub, which makes me thinks my cats got a hold of it. It's disgusting.

Anyone else hate bugs or have any stories about bugs?

Sometimes there are bugs in the bathroom. I'll usually spray them with something and watch them die a horrible death.

In Idaho (let it be darned), June bugs get so bad, that sometimes in the night, you can llok out the window and see nothing but June bugs. But what's worse than that are the Hobo Spiders, there about one in long and are really really fast. How yuck. I loved it in Salt Lake where I used to catch Praying Mantis'.

Story: One time I was sitting outside my house, and this spider crawked onto my head, so I started yelling and screaming, and then it falls off.

Whenever we see a cockroach in our house crawling on the walls or something, we get Tabby (our Cockroach Killa) and get him near the cockroach. Almost without fail, he'll knock the cockroach off, play with it and then eat it.

I make friends with flies, catapillers, and grass hoppers. I have arachnophobia so I'm scared to death of spiders. Cockroaches are gross, june bugs are gross, and bees are ugly. (they have ugly faces)

My sister and I found a tick on our dog yesterday and we spent 20 minutes trying to get him to calm down so that we could tweeze it off. He was being radiculously squirmy. Anyway, so once the tick was off we had to figure out what to do with it. My sister said it would die if we put it in a cup of hyrdrogen peroxide. It didn't. So I poured the hydrogen peroxide and the tick into a plastic baggy. I closed it up very tightly and I threw it out. EEK. That was a terrible experience. I really don't like ticks. However, I love spiders. I think that the tiny ones are really cute. I really hate bees. I've never been stung by one, so I could be allergic. I hate mosquitoes too. One summer I got so many mosquito bites, I had scars for the rest of the year. You see, I scratched them. Boy they hurt. That's another reason why I like spiders: they eat mosquitoes. Bats do to. I love bats. Last year there were tiny little flies living in our shower. I tried to get them away with water, which didn't work. I didn't want to squish them because I'm just nice like that. :p I would have killed them if they were mosquitoes. Yuck.

I think some bugs are pretty cool, like beetles and the praying mantis... it's cockroaches and grasshoppers that freak me out. I remember when I was younger a grasshopper the size of my hand leaped from about five feet away onto my chest. I cried for about three minutes and it traumatized me for life.
As for roaches, the most horrible one I went through was reaching for my tennis shoes and a big roach popped out of one of them and ran up my hand. Boy, did that scare me...

Once a roach was sitting on the shower head when my aunt was taking a shower and it fell on her head. She didn't notice until she started washing her hair.

My cat usually finds all the bugs in my house. Especially Junebugs. Yeeeeewwww!

Oh, and don't get me started on Cicadas. I'm sure you know that they fly around in huge swarms for a couple of days, making it very difficult to go outside. Once I had to, so I took an umbrella and stuck it in front of me.

I'm actually fine with bugs. They can go on their merry way as long as they don't touch, bite or sting me. But there are two particular bugs that I hate: Mosquitos and Fire Ants. The latter because I'm alergic and the former cause they are so annoying.

I didn't mind bugs before, but now I do, thanks to our bug project in biology. Sticking them with pins (which requires touching them), then arranging their little legs is so annoying. But I do have a really cool moth that has a 5 inch wing span (12.5 cm). I hate spiders, but luckily we don't have to deal with those at all (8 legs, not 6). Oh, yes, and I hate mosquitos and ticks.

I am afraid of two kinds of bug: bees(/wasps/hornets/yellowjackets) and earwigs. A few summers ago our house was invaded by bees that set up a hive in our backyard. We had to close off the basement and carry spray bottles with us. This is because bees can be killed by spraying them with soapy water. They literally just drop out of the sky. On the plus side, we got to bring the N64 upstairs.

Not a huge fan of bugs but not a huge hater either. It's fish that get to me.
Usually if a bug's hanging around I leave it alone. Why kill the little guy that didn't really do anything to you? Hmm.....once I hosed down a wasp nest for about 15 minutes, nailing them with the spray hose whenever they tried to get up. Not the wisest thing but I had it working, until one evaded and stung me below the eye. It wasn't really that bad. If a wasp is bothering me I take a yardstick and smack it the thin edge on, those things just drop. Friend and I were playing tennis and bees were annoying us, and, well, tennis rackets work well on bees. Read somewhere that using hair spray on wasps causes them to drop to the ground stiff for a while.
Especially hate mosquitoes of course.
What's worse than bugs is worms. My mom got some pistachios but left them there too long, and it grossed out my sister horribly when we found a total of around 60 worms in the pantry. Had to clean out and inspect absolutely everything, they'd gotten like everywhere. It was horrible. To add insult to injury they left behind their freakin webs. It was wintertime so I dumped them in the snow to let them suffer. Looked like long boogers with black dots on one end.

The june bugs get pretty thick where I live... One time I was biking and they were smacking me in the face and one flew right in my mouth as I was coughing!!! It tasted pretty bad, if I remember correctly...

Ugh? Bugs! I hate them. I live in minestoa and have to constantly deal with out "state bird" The mousquitoe. Also, Im really afraid of ladybugs. May sound weird, but listen, they look just like any other beetle with the pincers and everything, but they have a spotted shell making them look "cute". Cute? When those things bite you it feels like you got bit. Hard.

Ugh. Palmetto bugs (Floridian cockroaches) scare the flip out of me. Yeah, they're just cockroaches, but if one's on the ceiling and you use a broom to get it off, it just flies at you and lands on your face. (well, maybe that was just me)
