Snag the answers from your teacher, get 4/5 of the questions right, and explain why you got a couple wrong to the teacher, and how it's not your fault. Bingo! +2 to +5 points, right there!

nice plan, the teahcer may not buy it though. Just get one or two wrong.

I had an exam (yes one exam, a midterm this year.) and I didn't study at all. I just absorb the knowledge at school and then antistudy at home and I do spectacularly. Unless I fail my Algebra SOL (Standards Of Learning/Save Our Lives the virginia standardized test.) I won't have another exam until midterms in 8th grade.

I'm lucky, my school didn't give "exams" out this year.
But, given my ability to absorb knowledge, I would have done okay anyway.

I'm almost done with finals. I took my geometry, biology, and English finals today.

Geometry=95%
Biology=92%

I don't know about English yet. Only one more final, world history, and then I'm done. But I have to take the SATs on Saturday for the fourth freakin' time. And they're the new ones with the writing section. I'm not looking forward to it.

I barely understood a word of that. I'm so glad I'm not in high school!

You don't know what finals are? Final exams, the tests you take at the end of the year that cover everything you've learned all year?

Or did you mean the SATs?

They changed the SAT's, didn't they? I think they got a writting part on it now.

Yes, they did. I already wrote that in one of my prevous posts.

But hopefully I'll improve on my score of 1330 on the old SAT. The most you can get now is 2400.

I'm supposed to be studying right now.
I got 4 exams:
Public Law - worth 50% of final grade
Torts - 40%
Contracts - 100%
Criminal law and procedure - 100%

I'm scared of contracts.... It's just so hard!

I just can't get in the mood for study!

I got my SAT scores back, here they are, call me Mr. Showoff, I don't care. I'm really quite proud of them:
Grade 7
Math: 92%
Reading: 92%
Language Usage: 98%
Science: 99%

The state average for all of the tests was about 83%.
I also had 17 points of growth on Language usage, the average was 2.

Uh, that's not the SAT. That must be some other test, because the SAT doesn't grade in percentages.

But those ARE pretty good scores.

SAT=Standard Apititude Test. It tells you how you rank up to your peers. It also tells colleges what your general knowledge. It doesn't evaluate GPA.

I think you should neatly type your notes in an outline & study from that.

As for me, I start final exams tomorrow; I have Government & Acting 1. To study for Government, I did the study guide & also stapled together all my corresponding notes, since I can use them for the last 10 minutes. Acting 1 is simply turning in my short one-act play, presenting a set model & having a scene I wrote performed.

On Friday, I have Biology, Geometry, & English, all Honors. For Biology I have a review packet for the semster. Geometry is going to be my easiest that day; I made note card for each chapter of all the formulas & theorems we covered. In English, we have to analyze 2 poems; I picked Sonnets 18 & 130 by Shakespeare. We do notes at home, then write the final draft during the final.

Finally, on Monday, I have my French 3 final. I'll be ready for it, considering I have all weekend after the rest of my finals. I moved up to level 3 this semester since I was so far ahead in level 2; I've had all A's in French since I started high school.

Pray that I do my best...
