Black Metal, I didn't play the game since last July and they just get a little steamed up and then have their smiley faces back on. I like how the villagers were counting the months you were gone though. They have true emotions towards the characters. Also, the weeds don't hurt much, and the cockroaches won't kill you. The best part was that no one moved out of my town because of the weeds. Now I'm happy *goes to play Animal Crossing*

EDIT: TOTPD #2! :eekdance: :eekdance:

Animal Crossing's a great game. I cant wait untill it comes out for the DS, or untill AC2 comes out.

... Zelda isn't in Animal Crossing... I think. It wasn't in the guidebook(But then agin, neather was the Mario stuff.)
Anywho, I heart this game, some of the animals are downright crazy!
My favorite animal was Bob, due to the fact that he was as insane as I am. Sadly, my town has become a wastland of weeds. ACDS WILL ROCK!!!!!!!!
What did you guy's houses look like?

Either do what DG says, or get Action Replay.
That's what I did.

I mostly quit playing it because the villagers were SO FRICKIN' MEAN.

Think about it. You don't talk to them for a day and they get close to cussing you out.

That's what makes it fun, though!!
I love setting the date on the Cube forward like 50 years, and then seeing what they have to say. Usually it's pretty good.

What really stopped us (me and my siblings) from playing it so much is that EVERY SINGLE character except for one (there was like, 6 of them) in the town that we liked moved out. For good. Now our town is full of 14 people that we don't give jiggly-squat over.

Ya, I always hated it when that happened. Good thing Cody never left me.

And Frotzie, don't you understand? If it's addictive, you can't just put it down. It's like smoking. You can never stop. It's too hard.

Did you ever set it to the last date possible and then see what happened at midnight? I was tempted to do this but I never did.

No-but now that you mention it, I want to rob my brother of my GC, and do that...

You know those weeds? You can get the ghost to pick them all for you, ya know.

And once, I time traveled as far as the GCN's clock would let me.

I've always wondered if Animal Crossing will ever actually end.

Tom Nook suddenly pops up and says "I'm sorry! The game's over! Get the **beep** out my town!"

Okay, maybe not that forcefully, but you know what I mean.

After you pay off your house, it kinda gets to be just like the Sims. Nothing but life...
Nook doesn't cuss you out.

It involves Mr. Resetti beating you with his shovel until you need medical attention whenever you reset the game. And Tortimer goes on a killing rampage every April Fool's Day.

Along with the note of Resetti, does he ever really reset your game. I know that I got him really frickin' mad once, and the screen went black, but he was joking. So does he?

Um, no. Mr. Resetti pops out of the ground whenever you reset the game. He doesn't like resetting, so why would he reset the game on you?

But he would always get angry, and threaten to completely erase my game...that's why I was afraid of him.

Resetti doesn't delete anything. His appearences are harmless.

And sometimes he forces you to... dun dun dun... cooperate.

He makes you have to type something down exactly right if you ever wish to play your game again if you get him too mad.

I tolerated that guy a lot in order to get rare items from Nook's shop. Like if I was in the lottery I would keep resetting until I won.

well that's why Mr. Ressetti exists, to prevent cheaters like you from having their way.

I head something about losing your eyes and your mouth. How does that work?

Oh yeah, I think if you reset when you're in another town it does that. Also, I guess Mr. Resetti didn't count on there being very patient cheaters.

I think it actually just gives you a Gyroid face, instead of making you lose your nose and mouth.

I think the only thing that stays on you is your nose and mouth.

Whoa. Deja vu. And I have absolutely no idea why.

Ya, you get a gyroid face, and you lose all your money and everything in your inventory. If you get him mad enough, Mr. Resetti will reset your game for you.

I love it. I got it right after it came out (on Gamecube, no DS for me! :p) and then I played it nonstop for, like, a year, and then I stopped playing and only recently did I delort my old town and start a new one, because I missed the pleasures that are being in debt and having a really hard time decorating your pad and not having caught all the fish (it was a really busy year). Of course, I bought the strategy guide to it; one of the best decisions I've ever made- it's all the way up there with joining this here wiki (is that a little too mushy for a thread about a video game?). It's so fun. It's the best. It pwns. Okay, I'm done.
