I love the PokeMon in Super Smash Bros Melee.

That's about it.

I like the pokemon games. They are very deep and fun RPGS. Everything else sucks though.

It was a kids' fad that rose and died very quickly. Hopefully the same can be said for the lifespan of this thread.

Or maybe this thread will stick around.

I have a Mew on my Red and Yellow. I remember when you had to go to the special place and wait in line for like an hour just to get a Mew.

Oh I went to one of those. It was a tounament and I was one of the first 1000 people and got a mew. I had a level 100 charizard. In my Leaf Green I have a level 100 of my favorite Pokemon: Starmie. I can easily beat anyone who CHALLLENNNGGGGEs me. I love the games (got Emerald, but I don't like everything else.)

To all of those who don't like pokemon:.....

THEY DON'T LIKE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually got that from my friends. They put in their TGSesque comic "Hyper Girl and Friends" In the first panel the title character's boyfriend gets trapinch'd and the title character says the first line. In the next panel the second line appears and she is killed by a Rayquaza.

There were Pokemon tournaments at one point. I went to one in the summer of 99. When you got there they gave away mews to people who were there first. That was the only LEGAL way to get mew. No more legal mews for Red and Blue.

Does anyone know how to legally get a deoxys, or legally get to the Ho-oh and Lugia island?

I was big on pokemon back when it was cool. Now, I'm kind of a closeted fan. I still wear my pikachu necklace from time to time (turns out my friend has one like it but never told me), and just smile at all the "what the crap" looks I get.

I used to be a giant Pokemon fan, but I kind of lost interest after Gold and Silver came out. Coincidentally, this was around the same time I discovered real RPGs like Earthbound and Final Fantasy.

I never looked back after that.

I have the red version and Stadium. My normal team is around level 50, 55...something like that. And I have a Mew. I just got it from a Gameshark. I don't care if it's "legal" or not. It's a pretty fun game, but I don't have any interest in the seemingly endless new versions or the show or anything.

I used to like the show,... when I was 7. Now, 6 years later, well... it stinks. I don't know anyone who is a fan of it, and I certainly am NOT a fan of pokemon either.

Occassionally watch the show....it really is getting stupid now. They added so much dumb stuff, like Pokemon Coordinating. Ulgh.

I actually never got into the games, but I do know the Gameboy ones are good. Pokemon Snap is exceptionally addictive, and it is quite strange that I know this and have never owned an N64. Pokemon Pinball is awesome as well. I got Ruby and Sapphire when it came out. But my GBA is kinda sorta sucky at times, so it turned off sometimes when I had like, over 1,000,000,000 points and Rayquaza >_<! I had only 20 or 30 Pokemon left when I lost it T_T

There's this 8th grader Rowley at my school who started playing the Pokemon games at school....suddenly I see several 8th grade boys with Gameboy Colors/GBAs.

People still have GBCs? Heh. I hate Pokemon myself, so repetitive and with no great story.

The show is bad. The games are good, but only up 'ntill gold 'n' silver. When ruby and sapph came out, i thought: "ugh, WAYYY too many pokemon to remember, I'm not gonna bother"

I think trying to colelct 'em all in the games is fun to a certain extent.

i gotss:
red
bluey
yellows
goldness
sliver

I got over 150 of them on gold and i got lots of them on blue.

The red and silver are basicly to trade pokemons that don't appear o nthe opposite version.

Eh, anyway, i don't play pokemon that much anymore.

the games were very fun, but I didn't see any point in all of the stuffed animals and game boys shaped like pikachu and stuff. and the show. had no point.

Kutch, that is probably one of the cutest pictures of pokemon I have ever seen. Oh, yeah, and I forgot to say I collected the cards for a while, but never really got into dueling, or challenging, or whatever it is that you do (it's sad that I don't remember what it's called).

For those of you who saw the Chinpokomon episode of South Park, that basically sums up my feelings for Pokemon.

Not hard enough, obviously. (I don't blame you, this glitch was actually discovered only last year.)

I used to like it. The games were really awesome and fun. I don't really like it anymore though. Yet I still know all their names...

The TV show (and all the made-for-TV-movies) is stupid. Try making fun of it as you watch, MST3K-style! That makes them a heck of a lot easier to watch. For instance, in one of the movies they have a DARK BALL. When Pokemon are captured with this ball, they advance to the highest level and (brace yourself) TURN EVIL. That is stupid. And then there's all the stupid fights that have nothing to do with the plot (such as it is).
