Canadiennes. World domination: Nah. last I checked servbots ruled the world (behind the scenes of course) Domination of this forum: Definitely! I predict that even more people from Canadia will join. Those people will tell their friends to join. This will cause snowballing uncontrollable canadienne growth, and all the mods will be replaced with canadiennes. The little star icon next to threads will be replaced by a maple leaf. The flag emoticon will change to the candian flag. Then the overwhelming canadiennes will flame us by PMs until we all quit and it becomes a canadian forum. Yay it's a TOTPD

The Queen is on the 5, Banjo Patterson (a poet) on the 10, the first Aboriginal elected to parliament (I think) on the 50 and Dame Nellie Melba on the 100 (I think she was in opera or theatre). There are 2 people on each note, but I don't know who most of them are. |

You forgot Jefferson on the two. And then there's the three dollar bill. It never became a legal bill, but I swear to you it had Santa Claus on it. Santa Claus. Think about that. Click. |

The Thomas Jefferson $2 bill was made only for the US Bicentennial in 1976. |

Wrong-o! As far as I know, the $2 bills are currently still being printed. The U.S. Government wants to see them reinstated. They ain't collector's items anymore. |

![]() Maybe. I dunno, I like our colourful money. It makes it so much easier to tell the bills apart. |

Question: Why is Patrick Stewart on the ten dollar bill? And I think I might have meant the purple $10 bill. It just seems weird for all denominations to be so...different from each other. Yellow, and blue, and all the colours of the rainbouw. |

I don't think Patrick Stewart is on the Canadian $10 bill. |

I have never before heard Sir John A. compared to Patrick Stewart. But now that I look again.... he really does like him.

The new twenties are hideous. Have you seen that rash of little yellow "20"s on the back? Egh. Gimme the jibblies. |

I don't think American money is ugly. I just can't imagine having multicolored money. It reminds me of playing Monopoly or something. I don't mind the new twenty or fifty. I like how the portraits are bigger, but I could live without the pink tint. Speaking of American money, how about the new nickel series? Have any of you seen them?

Is that for real? I don't know about that, man. Looks like it came off of, say, the latest Jefferson album cover. "DECLARE THIS: Tom's Greatest Hits (Even Though Christa Doesn't Think He's All That Great.)" Strange things are afoot at the nickle department. They've even got Lewis and Clark on the back of some now -- first time I saw that, I thought I had me a bum nickle. Which sounds like a country song. "Ooooh, I had meeee a bum nickle ... an' my girl stayed truuue, an' I'm still soberrrrr." Money should show pretty flowers or nanimals or some such thing, like Canada with the mooses and stuff. 'Nuff with the creepy white man's history already. |

Call me crazy, but that might be because the money is, you know, MADE OF PAPER. Is Australian money made of flattened wads of Kryptonite or something? That would explain the multicoloredness of the money. It would also explain why a $100 bill in Australia killed Superman. Besides, American money is cool just because of this. I think Aust money is made from some sort of plastic. There's a clear plastic window in the bottom right corner called a 'watermark', which makes our money harder to counterfeit. And our coins have pretty nanimals on them... except the $2 coin, it has an Aboriginal man on it. Although in early colonial Australia they were considered sub-human...... But not now though |

Actually, US money is made from cotton and linen. We need a toastpaint. |
