The graphics aren't there. I hate "Get a Life" mode. I am the person who likes to build my Sims and meet the goals that I have in mind.

Oh, man. I hated the console Sims games. They were just aweful. I mean, the game controlls were so hard to figure out, and the graphics were orful. The scenario mode had potential, but it turned out just to be dumb. (like the rest of the game)

I didn't think they were that bad.

Of course, that was before I got The Sims 2 for PC. Then there was no contest.

I liked the XBox Sims, but that was only because of two-player, I never played the scenario mode or whatever. (Because my friend owned the game, I just went over his house to play two-player)

Just what I thought... Quoting the mighty FlyingOmelette from her website, the sandworms look more like slippers
and the only cool sprite is the castle.
And you attack by running into enemies. RUNNING INTO ENEMIES!

Ah, you're judging a game by it's graphics. I happen to like the CGI Style. (Not as much as the OOT Style)

The graphics look bad, but the gameplay is oh so good.

No I am not. I am judging it on what I've read from about 15 different people. I watched how it was on Cinematech. Lip stick Link with a devilish laugh when Zelda doesn't want to kiss him. Bad voiceacting right off the bat. Then I saw the gameplay footage. You have to strike people with your sword to talk to them, you have to hit the item to get it, and you have to deal with a bad looking game.

I may not have played it but I mean, come on. I need not waste time to get it to play it.

Wait a second. I think I made a mistake.

I thought Puph was talking about the CGI-Style games, like Wind-Waker, but made a misspelling. You're talking about like "Wand of Gamleon" aren't you? I'll agree that was a bad game.

EDIT: Where'd ye post go?

Catz 5 for Gameboy.

In no way does it even come close to matching the PC version. It's total crap, folks, total crap.

DON'T BUY!

I like cats, and was expecting far more.

Ha. It IS a game, you know.

No way. I loved Wind Waker I thought the graphics really worked for the game. I don't think it would have givven the same gaming experience if it had graphics like, say, Twilight Princess. What really bugs me is all of those people who never even tried the game just because of the cartoon-ish graphics. You should at least give it a chance.

EGM's Top Ten Most Overrated Games:
5. Perfect Dark (N64)

Perfect Dark!!!!! More like one of the top ten games of all time. Many gameplay modes, tons of replay value, cool weapons, nice story. I've played this game for years and years and I still think its one of the best games ever. donkey Kong country also doesn't deserve to be on that list. This has singlehandedly make me hate EGM. X-(

Top Ten overrated games, not worst games. The article said these are games that aren't necessarily bad, but didn't live to the hype or general expectations. With that in mind, I'm really surprised Halo isn't on that list. Oh wait, everyone at EGM is a drooling Halo fanboy.

I completely agree with you there, DG. Halo was OK, but definitely not worth getting an Xbox for. In fact, I think the whole Xbox system itself is overrated, but that's another story.

I actually liked the original Halo(my friend has an Xbox) but Halo 2 had too much hype behind it. ZOMG, you can dual wield! 10 out of 10 for that! I didn't really prefer the way the game played, the guns that were good were dumbed down, and the bad ones are actually average. Also, it was messed up during the cutscenes where it took an extra second to bring up the good textures so Master Chief looks like a smooth/dull thing for a second.

It's not that Halo 2 is bad, it's just that no game could ever possibly live up to the hype it got.

Anyway, does anyone think the Shadow the Hedgehog game will be horrible? I think it will just because it's not true Sonic the Hedgehog gameplay. I was hoping for a Sonic Adventure 3 this year with Sonic vs. Metallix  . But instead, Sega gives a GTA Sonic. :(( :((

Even Sonic Adventure 1 or 2 :O . I actually loved Sonic Adventure DX, but Sonic Heroes is a no-no in almost every way. Call me bad at Sonic games but even as team Rose(the easiest team), I couldn't beat the final boss. I so want to hear what Metal Sonic sounds like, too. But, I sold the game to EbGames. I bought it for 30 dollars, sold it for $7.50. What a cheap company :-| .

I actually never tried the 3D sonic games, believe it or not. I didn't think they were a great way to spend my money. I loved the platformers, but I'm just not ready for 3D sonic.

I don't truely like Mortal Kombat. But I also don't like many other fighting games besides Super Smash Bros. Also, JTHomeslice, your sig is too big. :)

Also, I remember once I played this game that was called Firepro Wrestling, or something like that. It was for the Gameboy and boy was it horrible. It was really sluggish as well. I remember a wrestling game for the GBA, too. It was better, though.

Homeslice, your sig is WAYYYY to large, the biggest size you can have is 100x500 you should go to the Banner and Avitar force and get them to shrink it down for you. It's right in off-subject dissussion.

And, to tell you the truth, I really liked Sonic Heros. But i thought it was to easy really.

I'm saying that game is not overrated. I think its a classic with endless replay value and great gameplay. I don't remember there being that much hype for it, though.

There was MASSIVE hype for Perfect Dark. Everyone was all "Oh! It's like the sequel to GoldenEye, but it's not Bond, and it's supposed to be better!!! I wonder if it'll really be better? Who stole my pants?"

Oh, yes. Hype. Even back in 1998.

Perfect Dak ruled when you found the secret things, like the resturaunt, and the cheese, and the training was fun.

CP'S 3 WORST VIDEO GAMES EVER, SUMMER 2005

3. (GCN) "Monsters, Inc. Scream Arena". Guh. *shudders* I can't belive I actually tried to beat that game...
2. (VARIES) "Galaga". (or any of those other games that sound like that) The arrangement version is fun, but the regular one is just crappy.
1. (GBA) "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". GAH! TOO! MANY! HARD! BOSSES!

Oh yes, THAT hype. I completely forgot that this was a sequel to goldeneye. I remember there being a lot of hype now, but I think it still met all of it. I've been frequently playing the game for over 5 years now.

Yes, the training and secrets were fun. My dad went into an area you weren't supposed to be at in the first Area 51. There were gaurds that didn't shoot you and couldn't die. You could go up to Johnathon and shoot him, but you wouldn't win because you didn't open the right door, though.

^Yeah, Willy Wonka most -definately- looks like Michael Jackson in that. :-|

Willy Wonka(Current Generation)

Banjo Tooie(Last Generation)

Winner=Willy Wonka just because of the texture work, but, when an almost 6 year old last generation(the weakest with polygon count, the N64) game almost beats it, that's sad.

WHAT!?!
Why do you think Galaga is crappy? It was a true classic to many people. Besides, shooting space bugs is supposed to be fun :p . Then again, it's your opinion...ah well. It's fun in my eyes.
