Once you're logged in, click on "Documents". From there you can upload your stories/poems. They can only be in certain formats, so make sure you read everything before you start. I'm being very nice here by telling you everything instead of making you figure it out.
Once you've uploaded a document, click on "Stories" (back to the login screen). Near the top, to the right, there's a link called "New Story". Click on that. It may/may not ask you to read and agree to the guidelines. I HIGHLY reccommend reading them, because they allow now exceptions to the rules. I've learned through the 5 stories I lost quite painfully. And just to make you even more P.O., they don't allow you to upload anything for a week if you're had something removed from your site.
Okay, back to "New Story". Click on the first button, follow the instructions on the pop-up. (geeze, it was never this complicated before they re-designed the place, huh old-timers?)
After you've selected a category, pick out a title for your story, write out a summary, select the document you uploaded, and fill out the rating and genre. Note about the genre: the secondary genre is not required, but I like to use it so people know what minor elements will be in the story, apart from the main theme. Rating is also very important, make sure you look at the guide before you start. After a while you'll get used to it and will be able to choose a rating by yourself (Originally it was G through R, like movies, but they changed it. No idea why, it was so much more simple then).
Click "Submit Story", and you're done!
EDIT: After uploading a document, click on "Edit/Preview" to make sure it looks nice. Add bold, italics, underlining, page breakers and/or anything else that may be needed. It is MANDATORY that you preview your document before you post. I forgot to once and it ended up being in HTML format.
Just remember that, and you'll be fine.
