I liked the game Out Of This World on SNES (and I was going through some old disks my neighbor had and found it for PC. Go DosBox!!).
A lot of my friends hated it, but I think it was because they really sucked at it. I remember beating it once, it was like the coolest thing.

I love how for some/many of us, "old-skool" just means "the games we grew up on"...

my faves were the adventure games:

crystalis
willow
soul blazer
castlevania II
skate or die II
-- man, I'm forgetting a bunch of them :-| --

and of course zelda and mario

Hey, Socetew's back! Where ya been, man?

I loved Skate or Die 2, that was a pretty fun game... Saving your skate park from evil developers... I liked the first one more, though. No real story, just skate..
Castlevania 2 drove me nuts, I've only recently beaten it. I didn't have the patience for what amounted to a side scrolling RPG. Perhaps that's the same reason I've never beaten Zelda 2.
Castlevania 3 rocked! I liked playing as different characters.

Oh yeah! the kirby user has played the best kirby game of all time. I love my super NES. I gots Super Mario All Stars (I think lost levels is cool), Super Mario RPG, Kirby Super Star, Super Metroid, Earthbound, and probably some other good games. My Super nintendo died recently. I was really hoping You could link up your old systems to the revolution to get your games that way. I got to get a working super nintendo.

I love Super Metroid. It's the only old game I have-if you don't count my OoT and Majora's Mask save files on the GCN-and I quite love it. I sort of wish I had grown up in a time in which my playing it was natural, as I don't quite go through the nostalgia felt by others, but either way it's a great game which proves that there are good old games.

Oh, and as well, I've got the Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Bros. 3 ports to the GBA, and they as well are greatly enjoyable.

To make a comment relating to the topic of the above poster: Someday, I hope to play Kirby Superstar.

And the Monkey Island games. I'd say the Lemmings games are my favorite vintage games. And that Neverhood game was pretty cool

Well, most of the old games I have are part of the classic NES series, which is, of course, how I got them. I have Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, and Xevious: The Avenger. I also have an old GB Mega Man game. I like 'em all. Clasic games are awesome!

Hmm, let me see....
Super Mario Bros.
Duck Hunt
Galaga
Dig Dug
Cosmos Cosmic Adventure
Tetris
Donkey Kong

I'm pretty sure there are more, but that's what comes to mind right now.
