I think I'm gonna stick with Amelie as my favorite movie. Runner-up would be Requiem for a Dream.

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is my favorite. Me and my friends actually made a 1 and a half hour long spoof of the trilogy. It's pretty awexome, IMHO.

The Sixth Sense I liked, too... though I couldn't stop thinking about it for two weeks after I saw it for the first time. I see dead people...

I have a few favourites. Breakfast at Tiffany's, What Dreams May Come, Moulin Rouge, Finding Nemo, Life is Beautiful, Paris When it Sizzles... Movies that make me cry, I guess.

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK! My favorite for sure. Nothing can beat that car chase. And the plane fight. And all the other awesomeness. Beats everything. Ever.

Ok ok ok.....

The Godfather rocks! I actually wrote a 20-page college paper about it. That's how much I like it. Especially the end where they bump everybody off. Oooh, I do love the bumping.

Other movies I like a bunch: Rain Man, Reservoir Dogs, Napoleon Dynamite, Falling Down, The Great Race, IT (the Stephen King TV movie). I know some of these are not exactly classics, but I like 'em anyway.

Falling Down

Finally, somebody else who's heard of (and likes) this movie!

Yeah, don't you love the randomness of it? Everyone should see Falling Down! Unfortunately, a lot of people haven't even heard of it, and the video rental places near me don't even stock it. The only reason I've seen it is that I have a friend who has it. I love it when he pulls out the gun at the fast food restaurant!

I haven't posted in this thread yet? AAAAARRRRGGGLLLBLBLLBLLBLLBLBLB!!!

...My favorite movie series is Star Wars. Duh. But individually, I've been known to enjoy a good Quentin Tarantino movie, like Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, etc.

Also, Tommy Boy and Airplane! are good.

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people list Napoleon Dynamite in this thread - that movie's the closest thing to H*R-style humor on the bigscreen I can think of. Any other good candidates for that?

I'm not that much of a movie watcher myself (especially compared to my brother, who's hardcore), but I really liked Memento a lot, and both parts of Kill Bill. Growing up, all the Back To The Future movies were huge favorites, and I'll still watch any of them when they're on.
