Gotta be Tommy Boy.

*rock is playing on radio*
*Richard changes it to soft rock*
"Yeah, that's more like it."
"This crap sucks."
*Tommy changes it, lands on Carpenters' Superstar, a sappy-sounding song*
"You can change it if you want."
"No, you change it."
"I can live with it if you can."
"Suit yourself."
*camera goes to view of car moving along highway*
*camera returns to car, in which Tommy and Richard are singing the chorus and crying*

XD

Forgot Holy Grail, that ties.

Some of my faves are Short Circuit I&II, the Back to the Future movies, and Groundhog day. If anyone thinks I like older movies, you'd be right.

Older movies?

When think older, I think Nosferatu or Metropolis. You better go back at least to early Hitchcock before you start calling them "older movies". ;)

Very yes... The movies Neo listed were movies I watched growing up... Those aren't old cus that would make me old.

Hitchcock is freaking awesome. The call Wes Craven the "Master of Horror." Hitchcock is the only true master of horror.

Star Wars Episodes III-VI, Lord of the Rings 1 and 3, Monty Phython and the Holy Grail, and Napoleon Dynamite.

Napoleon Dynamite.

Stupid, but funny.

Hitchcock is the master of suspense. :P

But I agree. If I were sent to live on a desert island and allowed to take a DVD player (and a generator, etc., blah) and the films of one director, it would be Hitchcock. Kubrick would be a close second.

He did both well. He made movies that would scare Charley Manson.

Exactly... Something horror directors could learn from Hitchcock: "Showing us the killer, monster, etc. is scary, but not showing us the killer, monster, etc. is even scarier".

Toy Story's definitely my favorite.

Couple of closes seconds would be Holy Grail, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Meaning of Life.

*still needs to see Life of Brian*

Example: The shower scene in Psycho. All we saw was the outline of the killer we never saw the killer's face.

Psycho is great, but over-cited. I think Rear Window is one of the best examples. We don't even know if there is a killer until the very end.

I don't have one specific favorites, but the top five would probably be somthing like: The Man in the Iron Mask, Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Carribean, LOTR trilogy (yes, that can count as one :p ), and.....dangit, there's a lot that are really close, so I'm not going to bother trying to pick one more.

Rear Window is another awesome movie, I'm not sure how I forgot that one. Quite intriguing, I found myself flip-flopping the whole way through, although slightly bent to one side. (shouldn't take too much thought to figure that out)
