I was walking along and a crazy idea popped into my head. Why not make a "Time Capsule" of sorts for the forum? Post things about yourself and/or current events. It's like a real time capsule, but with less mud. Here's a clearer explination:

1. People post things.
2. Mod locks it, but doesn't move it to spam vault, so the thread will eventually move down the topic list, therefore being "lost".
3. In a certain amount of time, a mod unlocks it and brings it back to the top.
4. People read the old posts and reflect.

Simple enough, right?

Uhh...Can you kinda rephrase it a bit? "My idea is to have people post things (Links, Recent Sbemails, their avatars, ect) in this topic, have someone lockinate it, have it be lost in the new topics, and then re-open it to the public in a couple of years." doesn't make sense to me.

That depends on how many years we choose. Maybe I should add a poll for that. It would be nice to look back; that was the purpose of this.
