BOOK RUIN'd! Oh well. I ruined Order of the Phoenix for meself too. I really didn't want [character] to die, though... EDIT: This is a bit better... Well, I just finished reading the book, and I was indeed shocked and saddened to discover that [NAME REMOVED] kills [NAME REMOVED], I think what I found most intriguing was who Harry develops a crush on. |

On a completely random, yet on topic, note, my girlfriend was in line to buy the book Friday night, and the dude buying the book in front of her was dressed as a storm trooper (complete with blaster, as I understand it). I would have loved to have been there, just to see that. I woulda had to ask him if Harry Potter was allowed in the Empire, I mean, it does contain magic and the like... They showed some people on TV yesterday. I'm not sure who they were. They claimed to be christians, from some church in West Virginia. Supposedly they had bought every copy of the book in their town and burned them all... I wish people like that would disappear from the planet. They give Christians and people from West Virginia a bad name. IT'S A FREAKIN' BOOK! BOOKS ARE INANIMATE OBJECTS AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE GOOD OR EVIL! [/rant] |

Well, I borrowed it at 2:30 today and successfully reached p. 399 (Chapter 18) before having to return it. Now I have to wait a long, long time before I finish it... Do Ron and [character] get back together after the Love Potion incident? |
