So... what do you look for in a perfect video game? What console? What genre? What kind of gameplay? What games would you mix together to create it? You don't need to make up a storyline, but a general idea might be cool.

For me...
I'd want an RPG for the Game Boy Advance. There already are a lot of GBA RPGs, but I would want one that combines elements of the Pokemon games with games like FFTA, Golden Sun, and Fire Emblem. Instead of walking around on an overland map, I'd want to start off in one place and move myself between towns, recruiting units (a la Fire Emblem) along the way as I go through forests, caves, and oceans, and whatever. The setting would be medieval-ish, like many other RPGs, and the characters in your party wouldn't be solely human. Rather, there would be elves, halflings, dwarves, orcs, demons, and the like. Also, much like Fire Emblem, the party members would be preset, not random, (which would be much like FFTA). I don't care about the storyline, as long as it's not cliche'd.

What about you?

I got to the water dungeon thing and got bored.

WOW. You just lost the very little respect I had left for you.

LIke an Uber Animal crossing where you can make you caracter from the ground up, and make your own firniture, and put posters and paintungs up on the walls, and play with your friends online. Or like a MMOshooter game. Ya, that would be cool.

Take Fire Emblem. Pretend you are the enemy side except good. Next, make various different sides each with their own color. But yourself on the border of some countries. You acn campaign to any country you want. A victory would make you closer to the enemy capital. A loss would drive you back farther. If you took their capital, you would win. If your capital got taken, you would lose. At the same time you would be playing a story like the original Fire Emblem. After you captured all the countries and beaten the other story. You would unlock the final mission.

I'd want some kind of RTS/RPG like Warcraft III, but I'd make it more open ended. For example most of the levels could have different ways to win depending on how you wanted to play. You would then get units that encouraged your gameplay methods. For example, if you used swarms of little units, you would get cheap, fast units, or if you used heavy forces you would get lots of big units. Now that, dear sirs, would be a cool game.

I would like a game that combines gameplay from 2-D Mario'ish platformers and combine elements from RPGs. Like, you could have stat building and other RPG'ish things and make encounters with enemies like platformer stages. That would be pretty cool.

My dream game, my drame, well, it would be a third person shooter, with the controller settings of Ratchet & Clank 3's Lock-Strafe mode. And it would take place in a fully destructable city that covers a small tropical island complete with palm trees, waterfalls, and white sand. This city wouldn't be like just a small buisness district-type city, but a compact metropolis, with skyscrapers, modern architecture, and ritzy downtowns. And your character would have heavy Master Chief-type armor. Your character could also have swords, and the swords could have a complex, yet also simple, sword-fighting system that doesn't just stop with a few swipes at your enemy, it would keep going until one of you makes a mistake. And if stealth is your style, you can take on a stealth persona to hunt down enemies in the 100 player online. Oh yeah, it would be PS2 exclusive.

My dream game would be "Steme Pumpernickel's Extreme Walking." It would be like the Tony Hawk games, except... get this... WALKING! You could even do cool moves:

Simply Smashing: Jump ono a park bench, kick the guy sitting there, then jump off.

Shoe Wrecker: Grind a curb with you shoes.

Stocking Feet: Wear your shoes on your hands.

Backwards Walking: Uhhh.... backwards walking.

The Worm: Like a manual; you get down on the ground and move around like a worm.

Anyway, all the characters would be no-name people, like Steve Pumpernickel, Fred Nesbitt, Bob White, Jane Doe, and so on. Yep. That game would be the best.

for me i would really like a fast paced action adventure/fps. Games for me need to have alot of customization (ala, Armoured Core) and a wide variety of weapons and abilties (ala Project Snowblind) yet still have humor (ala destroy all humans). Really the perfect game for me would be Destroy All Humans with more weapons and a stat system.

Harvest Moon. Make it like Animal Crossing, where the days are real length, and then make the maps bigger, and give it online capabilities.
That would be sweet.

umm...strange picture there, Puphles. That's you, right?

And I've thought about it. It would get very boring if the days were real length. So, maybe make them like three times longer than in A Wonderful Life (so that one minute on the game clock equals three second of real time), then, after you are done watering your crops, and feeding all the animals, you can go to other people's farms and stuff, and see all the other people playing online. Festivals would be a lot more fun.
