Sadly I haven't read it, but I did see the film version awhile ago and was very impressed. It's actually kind of an odd film, not least because Truffaut and Richard hadn't fully mastered English yet when they wrote the screenplay. As far as futurist movies go, it has a very unique look, especially among sci-fi from the '60s.

the book goes mch deeper than the movie and leaves alot for you to wonder such as why the lead character's name is Montag german for monday. And it is only about a 6 hour read.

I read it! It was so coull. He was all, "what's so bad about these books I'm supposed to burn", and they were all, "you can't have books!" and then he was all, "books are cool!" and they were all, "we're gonna get you!" and then he was all --- oh, I shouldn't spoil the ending. But it's a great book. Bradbury rulez.

You folks might be interested in Equilibrium. It's basically a re-telling of Fahrenheit 451, but with Christian Bale, some incredible fight choreography, and a weaker story. It's not the best movie -- and definitely not a thinker like F451 -- but it is fun.
