A couple of months ago I found this absolutely awesome project called Uncyclopedia, which aims to be a Wikipedia-type project with as much nonsensical and comical information possible. My favorite themes are attributing everything to Oscar Wilde and blaming everything on Oprah (see The Great Petco Blowup of 2005).

WARNING: Potentially offensive language, themes, or content!

OTHER WARNING: You may fall out of your chair laughing!

Broadly speaking, in order to be empirically described as 'very, very small' a helicopter would have to measure less than two inches from nose to tail. This may seem quite large for something being described as 'very, very small' but the extremely large size of so-called 'normal' helicopters must be taken into account.

Man, that's got some funny stuff.

I hope you enjoy the article on 2001: A Space Odyssey, because I am the one who just created it.

Sorry to revive an old topic, but I thought you guys would be pretty interested in this. I especially like the DVD Commentary Transcript.

Uncyclopedia is totally rawkin'. These are some of my favourite lines:

"Bruce Lee's punches were so fast they blasted into the future and landed on his own body seconds later, after he'd stepped forward. This is what really killed him - the only thing powerful enough: his own fists." --Bruce Lee

"Communists also adhere to a strict typographical style which forbids all capitalisation, punctuation, and spacing, so that all letters may be brought together as equals. Here is an example of Communist writing:

Quote:
communismwilltriumphoverall

Unfortunately, this made Communist writing very hard to read. A large number of frustrated people joined the underground samizdat (lit. "same as that") movement, which translated communist documents into something readable. The irritating qualities of communist writing, plus a shortage of the special magnifying glasses that well-connected people could obtain to read it with, lead to the movement's collapse in 1992." --Communism

"It's a sorry man who can not invent an Oscar Wilde quote to fit his situation." --Oscar Wilde on Making up Oscar Wilde quotes.

And the entire Nihilism article, which is freakin' brilliant.

By the way, the article "Coach Z" is in the category "Things George Bush doesn't care about".
Go read it, it's pretty good!
Not particulary funny, but pretty interesting considering that SB got a really small page.

Speaking of Clinjas. anyone played The Game? It reads like a really messed-up version of "choose your own adventure" books.

You have two cows. One used to belong to the military. One is basically helpless but pretty. They somehow become involved in a lame conspiracy involving at least one adorable calf, a town in California, mad science and/or hokey mystical powers and a golden retriever. Everything works out ok in the end, but then you realize that you've had these two cows before. Many, many times.

Wow. They have it SO FREAKING RIGHT. Except for the "Boring crap" part.

I love this site. Thank you so much.

Super Mario 128 (cause the link was staring me right in the eye)

EDIT: Wow.. Didn't see this one:

Oh yes, I am. That's pretty much the same style of their ninja page and they link to it also.
