I can't believe nobody made a tread out of this! Trust me, i went through 8 pages of searches. Anyways, who here plays Final Fantasy and which one is your favorite? I like VII but I'm not through with it yet...dang JENOVA-Birth...

I know that there is a topic on this place somewhere. I remember I was the last one to post in it for a long time. But that's okay, it's old and dead and buried by now.

And, no, I've never played any FF games. Sorry. They look pretty cool, though.

Final Fantasy is....an incredible game series...I'm going through them for the first time now, starting with FF6. But, I do know a lot of info from remembering about 10 years ago when I would watch my big brother play them. Also, FFOnline.Com is a WONDERFUL site for information, media, images, and forums. Go there. Now.

So, JENOVA-Birth, eh? Let's see... ah, here we are:

Jenova BIRTH

HP: 4000

MP: 110

Exp: 680

AP: 64

Gil: 800

Resident Location(s)
Shinra Cargo Ship

Attack

Tail Laser
Gas
W-Laser
Stop

Battle Strategy

Most elemental attacks can inflict moderate damage to this monster. Since Jenova can sometimes attack twice in one turn, use summon spells and try to keep your HP up at all times. Poison is ineffective against this boss.

Defense

Gravity
Bad Breath
Paralyze
Petrify Mystify
Manipulate
Stop
Death

Win Item
White Cape

Hope that helps. :)

I enjoy FF a lot. I've beaten I, but that's it. I'm halfway through II, I'm right before the final boss in X, and I'm about a tenth of the way in VII.

In X, I got to right before the final boss, and then decided to level up. I've been leveling up for about a year, now. Heh. I never really got around to doing anything else.

In VII, I just got Red XIII. I just started the game for the first time about a week ago. Hehe, Cloud in a dress rocks.

As for the non-numbers, I've beaten FFTA and I'm about 3/4 of the way in FFT. FFT is, in my opinion, the greatest FF game.

No problem. Glad to be of service. I've been waiting for a Final Fantasy thread too, because all the threads I create usually die in a week or so. I stayed up til' 3 in the morning last night working on a new song. I play Final Fantasy scores on the piano. Currently I'm working on A One Winged Angel. I've learned 2 minutes and 37 seconds of it, but it's just such a beautiful song, no matter that it's 7 minutes long. I know I have a list somewhere of all the FF song I can play...but it's on a forum that's currently under construction, (403'D!) so I can't get to it right now. I also draw a ton of fanart; I've got a few FF pics, although I'm working on some better ones now. I do take requests as well; I've got 5 of those to complete before I can draw my other projects I have in mind.

Current Requests:

Arol Anime Style (for Arol)
Anime Otto (for A. Silver)
Ice Princess (for Ice Princess)
Otto in a dress (for anacsadder)
Stephanie (for Steph)
Richie/Katie kissing (art trade for richiefoleyluver)
Ebon/Courtney (request for Kieato)

Other projects:

Seifer (for Amanda)
Re-do "Amo Shiv"
Cloud Strife
Sephiroth
Magus
Ozzie
Slash
Flea

If you're at all interested, take a look at my homepage to view my artwork, and you can place a request if you want, too.

Gah...enough ranting for me...I have a rep for lengthy posts. I'll go now. Ta ta. :p

I just fought that guy today! So cool...

I slaughtered him, but I have a tendancy for needless leveling up. A lot.

Oooo, I do the same thing....actually I'm kinda stuck right now in FF6 -- I don't know what to do next. But I won't give out where I am because I'm too tired to type anything right now... but I do have good news! I just finished teaching myself A One Winged Angel, on August 3rd, 2005. It took me three nights of staying up until 3 in the morning over the keyboard, but I finally finished it. And I love it. Go back to my previous post and listen to it, and tell me what you think!!

EDIT: My request list is getting shorter, because I'm forcing myself to fill one request every day. If I try to do more than that I usually get over-stressed and don't get anything done the next day. But I hope that I can get these requests done soon, so I can get going on the projects I really want to do. I'm editing my other post periodically so you can see what projects I have yet to do. That is all.

urgh, Barret needs leveling up for fighting whats-his-name and there isn't much of a place to level up in the desert. Those worms dont give up too much EXP.

At the moment I'm trying to beat Dyne, but it seems that Fire2, Cure2 and level 20 isn't enough. Dag.

But wouldn't you have to get a Play Station for that? I think that goes against your Fanboyness.

You know, you should get one of the old ones, either I or II. They were on teh NES.

And they just re-released them for the GBA.

Yah, I guess I could do that. I do have a NES. And every other Nintendo system, like ever.

If I had a PS2, which would probably make me spontaneously combust into a giant fireball, I would definitely get some FF games.

Uh, no it wasn't. We talked about consoles with FF Games.

Which FF Game should I get? I think 8 is the best one from what I've heard.

FF7=best RPG ever. I just got FF8 and i'm liking it...but it's just too complex! The whole "junction" system just is way too complex. But I love it anyways. I want FF9 too. But i've heard it was really over-rated! And which jenova are you talking about? What place are you in? Going out and leveling up your guys will get you through that...that's what I did. And once you beat it, here's a challenge for u: PLAY THROUGH THE WHOLE GAME.....ONLY WALKING. (Exept on the world map, you can only run there.)...I did it...and it was the biggest test of paitence i've ever had to go through. Took me another 10 hours to beat than usual!

Trust me, FF9 is excellent. I nearly beat it, but then I died and got distracted and started doing something else. But I personally recommend Final Fantasy Tactics the most. It's the best FF game ever. Ever. Play it. Now.

You should most definitely start with FF6 (aka 3). Always start with the first people!!! ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sm:

-ahem-

So yeah, I told you guys I finished One Winged Angel. Now I'm working on Zanarkand. About half-way through right now, wish me luck that I can finish it by tomorrow when I see my bro; I'm gonna play it for him. He loves it when I play piano.

I also just finished my 50th pic! ^_^

FF II for the SNES is awesome! And FF 2 for NES is [darn] nice also... I've played so many of them that they all blend it together... FF Crystal Chronicles for GCN is mad boring.. but sometimes I'm kind of hooked on it anyway... :homsar:
