Image LimeWire: If I need fast downloads, this gives me them.

Image Morpehus: Once I downloaded something that had a small virus off of LimeWire, and decided to use Morpheus instead. I like both, but LimeWire is slightly better.

Image Movie Maker: I can make movies on this! Movie Maker=teh kewl

Image iTunes: I'm sure you've figured out by now that I'm a music freak.

Image Flash: I want to be an animator later in life - this will get me started.

Image The Sims (Original): I love this game like it was ma' childrens.

Image AIM: I can talk to my friends over the summer using this.

Definately Flash. Or Fireworks. Or Freehand. Or Dreamweaver.

Those is everythings I has from Macromedia (BGOP)

If I had anything else from Macromedia, I would use them.

Oh, and Word. That helps me with Flash. (scripts)

hmmmm...well.....

Trillian: Makes all my IM accounts all organized and in one place and such.

Photoshop 5.0 LE: Makes editing pictures to my needs simple!

Magic Set Editor: Makes making Majic cards almost simple. I am now working on the card set "Celebrities of Kamigawa"

Powerpoint: Makes school projects easy

Opera: Since all other browsers are messed up, i use this and it runs almost as well as Firefox

"Explore": You know the thing in the start menu, it lets me in to files i shouldnt have acess to and lets me tweak stuff that shouldnt be tweaked

HP RecordNow: Makes burning CDs and DVDs easy!

Definitely my Cable connection and my Mozilla Firefox browser. Without those, I wouldn't be up here typing right now!

Also, my recording program Screenblast Acid 4.0, my web site designing program AOLpress, Microsoft Word and Excel, Winamp, and several games.

Oh, and how could I forget X-Chat?

That's what I have Fireworks for... I've never used Photoshop but I bet you can't wear out the Teletubbies with it! (Use the burn tool on their televisions)

my favorites:

Firefox
Fireworks
HijackThis
Audacity
Mp4Cam2Avi (it converts digital camera .mov videos into .avi so you can import them into movie maker)
Spybot TeaTimer
a buncha videos i downloaded
Media Player Classic (plays Windows Media, QuickTime, and RealMedia so I don't need any of those crappy players)
Hack (a hex editor)

and I have a ton more programs I like. Many of them were downloaded from SourceForge. My desktop doesn't have room for any more icons.

I forgot about The Sims 2!

So, in a sense, I agree with your entire post.

Let's see...

Firefox
mIRC
AIM (on occasion)
Winamp

A little dull. Don't have any actual games on this comp-well, the only two I have that are worth playing, Worms Armageddon and The Game of Life, got lost at my older sister's place.

BTG: He probably used a skin with that Start Button image.

That's not actually MY desktop, just a pick of FLStudio I found on the internet.

In case you don't know what Fruity Loops does, people, just click my banner.

There is a way to (see here). It's kind of hard, though.

Firefox (for this!)
MSPaint (for the spritings)
Picture It (for more complicated image editing)
Nessie (simple NES emulator)
um.... did I say Firefox already? I guess that's it then. I don't really like playing PC games much.

edit: oh, and MSN!

Dang, almost beating my record of nine and a half. I didn't know there were so many Sims 2 lovers here. It kinda surprises me.

I also like my Big Brother 6 icon, because clicking on that gives me Live Feeds of the show. SWEET!!

Mozilla Firefox, for non-spyware infested exploration of the internet.

The Sims, which I have all expansions of. I'd like to get The Sims 2, though.

Winamp, because music is my life.

Adobe Photoshop 7.0, for all of my imaging needs.

I like my iTunes icon too. It just wasn't good enough to compare with Sims 2 and Firefox.
