(Big Brother is watching you)
Sorry, I haven't seen it, but I have heard of it. What cheanel is it on? I may take a look if I have time.
Big Brother is on CBS, my friend. My brother got the season three DVD set, and I watched all 32 episodes in about three days. 32 episodes=nine discs.
CBS you say? I might have to take a look sometime.
I've never seen it though.
I guess I should say the point of the show, then.
It's basically Survivor, but in a house. The people aren't trapped for forty days, but eighty. They have no contact to the outside world, excpet through a blog that the Head of Household has. The Head of Household is a coveted position, gauranteeing safety in the house for a week, and giving you the chance to nominate two houseguests for eviction. Each week, after the nominations, there is a veto competition. The winner of this contest has the Golden Power of Veto, enabling he/she to remove someone from the nominations. If someone is removed, the Head of Household puts up another person. Throughout the week, there are various other competitions, like food competitions, where the houseguests compete for their food for the week. Sometimes, they all have to work together. Other times, they have to work in teams. Either way, losing sucks. They are forced to eat nothing but Peanut Butter and Jelly for the whole week. There are also luxury competitions, where the houseguests work as one big team to get different luxuries, like a microwave, the hot tub, etc... Then, after they have had their fun and games, the eviction ceremony comes. All but three houseguests vote. The nominees, and the Head of Household cannot vote. When the vote is declared, the person evicted must leave the house within thirty seconds. There is always a secret twist with every Big Brother season. Last year, it was Plan: DNA. Two of the houseguests were siblings, but were seperated at birth, and didn't know it. They learned in the house. There was also a pair of twins that were switching in and out of the house. The one outside of the house at the time was still closed awy from any communication with anybody.
This year's theme is the "Summer of Secrets." Each houseguest entered with a secret partner. But, each pair were told that they were the only pair.
As you can see, Big Brother is an interesting show, and is sometimes as unpredictable as your own life.
