| Post subject: | Big Brother! |
Does anyone else here watch the reality show Big Brother? It airs Saturdays at 8PM EST, Tuesdays at 9PM EST, and Thursdays at 8PM EST. Yes, it airs three times a week. Anyway, I love Big Brother. I have a Live Feed subscription, and I watch it religiously. In fact, I'm watching the shows I missed right now. Personally, I hate Ivette (Evilette), Jennifer, and April. Evilette is so annoying, and thinks she's queen. Jennifer is like the bullet-dodger, she is never on T.V., and she is hardly on the Live Feeds. April is the dullest tool in the shed. Stupid people are annoying. The people I want in the final four are Rachel, Beau, Janelle, and Howie. So, does anyone else like Big Brother? And please, no one come here and say they hate all reality shows. I know most of you don't, but keep your hate for it to yourself. (I searched for this topic, and I looked behind when I joined, because I haven't ever seen a topic about Big Brother) |

I might have to take a look sometime. I've never seen it though. I guess I should say the point of the show, then. It's basically Survivor, but in a house. The people aren't trapped for forty days, but eighty. They have no contact to the outside world, excpet through a blog that the Head of Household has. The Head of Household is a coveted position, gauranteeing safety in the house for a week, and giving you the chance to nominate two houseguests for eviction. Each week, after the nominations, there is a veto competition. The winner of this contest has the Golden Power of Veto, enabling he/she to remove someone from the nominations. If someone is removed, the Head of Household puts up another person. Throughout the week, there are various other competitions, like food competitions, where the houseguests compete for their food for the week. Sometimes, they all have to work together. Other times, they have to work in teams. Either way, losing sucks. They are forced to eat nothing but Peanut Butter and Jelly for the whole week. There are also luxury competitions, where the houseguests work as one big team to get different luxuries, like a microwave, the hot tub, etc... Then, after they have had their fun and games, the eviction ceremony comes. All but three houseguests vote. The nominees, and the Head of Household cannot vote. When the vote is declared, the person evicted must leave the house within thirty seconds. There is always a secret twist with every Big Brother season. Last year, it was Plan: DNA. Two of the houseguests were siblings, but were seperated at birth, and didn't know it. They learned in the house. There was also a pair of twins that were switching in and out of the house. The one outside of the house at the time was still closed awy from any communication with anybody. This year's theme is the "Summer of Secrets." Each houseguest entered with a secret partner. But, each pair were told that they were the only pair. As you can see, Big Brother is an interesting show, and is sometimes as unpredictable as your own life. |

Maggie, a nurse, won HoH, and nominated Kaysar, a graphics designer, and James, a loss-prevention manager. Sarah, who is James secret partner, won the Power of Veto, and used it to take James off the block. Maggie, needing another person to be nominated, put up Janelle, the VIP cocktail waitress. Tonight is eviction night, meaning you will probably hear Julie Chen say that it is the Summer of Secrets, like eight times. It's also live tonight. |

BB in Australia is nearly over. They did the twin swapping thing and they got found out. Of the 4 housemates left, 2 are 'intruders' so I really hope they don't win. |

Usually, I will end up just fast-forwarding through the episodes, and find the competitions and ceremonies. Yes, I'm a boring guy. I know. I like the food competitions the best. |

I agree, but let's not get so hyped up and Caps Lock about it. Did you check the Grand Prize Poll on cbs.com? Ashlea, Michael, and Kaysar's bubbles are blacked out, while Eric's isn't. A sign? I think so. Anyway, I'm so happy that Howie put up James and Sarah. However, I know who won veto, and I'm not sure whether or not they are going to use it. |

I have never watched Big Brother. It just seems a little too melodramatic and staged for me, though people are always telling me how wonderful it is. That's why I watch The Amazing Race. Good show, The Amazing Race. Maybe I'll watch the next Big Brother when it starts. |

In the Australian BB, they're in the final week. As a special guest, they put in the winner of the Uk's last series, Nadia. I was looking at a tape of her, and wondered hwo she ever managed to win!! A lot of her time was speent screaming and arguing withthe other HM's. She is a Portugese transexual, which the final HM's figured out already. Check out BB Australia: http://www.bigbrother.3mobile.com.au |

Crap. There is some MAJOR backstabbing going on in this house, and I am not happy about it. Read the spoiler below. SPOILER!!!!! wrote: So we all know that Jennifer is HoH, and she is supposed to backdoor James, by not letting him have the chance to get the veto. Now, everything was going to plan, and Rachel won the veto. She is going to use it on herself tomorrow, assuming Jennifer will put up James in her place. Well, now, Jennifer is being a big backstabber, and is asking all the people in the "Friendship" if they are 100% on getting Kaysar out. UGH! I cannot believe her! She is so dead next week. If she does it, I will not be a happy person. Kaysar gave up the veto competition after she agreed with him to backdoor James, and now she is going back on her word, and is going to backdoor Kaysar. And when Kaysar goes up, he only has Howie and Rachel's vote to keep him in the house. April, Beau, Maggot, Evilette, and probably James will all be voting against him. Sometimes, this game really makes me mad.

I'm disappointed with who won BB Australia. IT was the twin guy, and the evicted twin apparently took out a $100 000 loan to fund the voting for his brother to win, because they would be sharing the money if the other brother won, because they were entered as twins! Grrrr. |

Here's even more spoilers for USA Big Brother watchers. ME wrote: SPOILER!!!Rachel used veto on herself, assuming that Jen would put up James, so they could all evict him on Thursday. Wrong. She puts up the strongest player in the game, the player that let her have the HoH position after she swore she would put up James, the guy who just re-entered the house with 82% of the the vote in America's Choice Poll. And now, he's leaving again. In the same exact situation he was in last time too. Up on the block with Janelle. No way out. Screwed. Kaysar is as good as gone.
Darn. |
