All the popular girls at my school have Barbie Girl on their iPods. They think it's just about the best thing ever. I hate them. I hate that song, I'm a Gwen Stefani fan, but I just don't dig Hollaback Girl. Not in the least. My friends like it, so I put up with their constant chanting of the lyrics. Lindsay Lohan is worse. She just CAN'T sing for her life and if she offered to sing for pennies on the street, she would NOT get any. The only reason she even got a record deal is because of the obligatory Disney "star-making" thing where a singer inevitably starts acting and an actress inevitably starts singing. |

Were you guys around to hear real punk, like the Ramones and Clash? Green Day is different because they've changed their message, not that's that necessarily bad. Musical evolution; all bands that are around for a long time go through it. But MTV does suck. A lot. So to get on topic, I must admit though, I'm not liking newer punk music. It's not really "punk" to me. Guess I'm an old timer?...About punk? |

Most pop I find to be talentless losers who just got lucky with a record deal. Especially those pop artists endorced by disney. Those ones who were orrigionaly acters, but decided to try their hand at music and Disney gave them a huge record deal. |
