I know, I feel your pain. What year are you in? I'm sophomore, and it gets easier as you get older. That is, if you study.

I'm in first year. And you know what else? There are NO girls in my program. :sb:

ARGH...bl! It's the worst thing in the world!

School is boring. I have so little time now to do anything not related to school! So, right now, I sit at my desk, think of the summer and say myself:"WHAT did I do during summer?" Practically nothing really noteworthy except celebrating a couple of holidays. And I ask myself this EVERY year! I'll never learn...

Meh.

Myrrh's first day of school was okay.

Most of it was spent evading the Boy with Which I Have a Complicated Relationship. He's in none of my classes. (Alternate name: Boy that I Liked but Don't Like Now but my Friend Told Him I Liked Him but That Was When I Actually Did Like Him But Now He Thinks I Like Him) That's a good thing. My friend is going to tell him I don't like him now. Erm. Anyway. So. Now I can devote my thoughts to the wonderful Einoo.

My homeroom teacher got married over the summer, so now I have to get used to calling her by her weird new last name. My teachers are okay, for the most part. Today I was very quiet, really. It was only a half day today. This year I just wasn't excited for school to start again like I usually am. Urr.

Comment.

I know how that feels. One year, my Spanish teacher got married, and we had to get used to going from "Ms. Morris" to "Mrs. Gherkinski" or something like that. Tough to get used to...

Same thing happened with my band teacher after fourth grade. A little before fifth grade, she got married, and when a monitor said her name during lunch, I thought I was gonna get a new band teacher. It was a shock to find who it was. But, at least I was the only one that could get used to calling her by her new last name!

My first week of school was pretty good. It's a large building, though, and for two of my classes, I have to actually leave the main building and walk up a hill into another one! And to make matters worse, my locker is on the third floor of the main building.

Other than the crazy set-up, I like my new school. Most of my teachers are nice. It's gonna be one WHALE of a campaign...I mean year.

One thing I really hate about school is when the bell rings, and then the teacher says, "The bell does not dismiss you. I dismiss you," and then they keep us for three more seconds for no reason whatsoever.

:)

Exactly. Except my classes always just get up and leave when it's talking.

I totally hate that. I also hate having homework in Math every day. But, my teachers are cool, especially my Science one. We get to go on a field trip this year to a hospital to watch someone get heart surgery.

My first week of school was better than I thought. All my classes are close together, and waking up in the mornings is very easy, actually.

I'm going to the Junior High part time and then homeschool the rest of the day. And I am amazed at the negative attitude towards learning, even the teachers are negative. Everyone hates it, and I enjoy -no, I love to learn. Another thing: Junior high is so darn easy. I progress 80% faster than most kids at school, so I'm am bored out of my mind. I was talking to my friend, Jaquie, about I hate the Space and Astronemy class because it's so darn easy. She said she loved it for the same reason.

Since I'm 6'1'', I have a big advantage at basketball. I have to be in the eighth grade basketball team if I'm to play at all. The ninth graders are better than I am, so I have no chance of getting one their team. I have to sign up for the team for the grade I'm in. This means that I cannot skip a grade without giving up sports, maybe untill college. There is also this stupid rule that says in Idaho, I can't skip 9th, and up. Even if I did skip to 9th, It would be hard for about a week and then easy again because I learn faster.

I think I'll just have to bear the boredom untill I'm 16, take a GED and go to Harvard or something.
