I start the benning of Semptember. But they're doing some construction work. I don't know if it's gonna be done by the time school starts.

Ugh, I would hate that.

But everyone knows the first day of school is nothing.

I'm going to start 7th grade in September. I honestly don't worry about my summer math packet (16 pages of things we never learned in school) or summer reading project (I already READ one of the books on our list of choices, so I just wrote a little summary and my mom is going to do the rest of the poster). I'm going to be happy to go back to school, but I'm also nervous to find out what Justin has to say on the fact that I like him, which he now knows. And I always talk to him first thing in the morning, so yeah. -gulp-

Not Nick Derkowitz? Oh, he'll be crushed. :P

I had summer reading to do. It sucked.

Poor poor Nick Derkowitz. And after I told him you loved him.

HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?

...

I still have to read The Grapes of Wrath and do a stupid chemistry packet that I have a feeling I'll be asking some of the more genius members of the forum to help me with when it comes time. Gluh.

I have to take Theology this year, since I'm going to Catholic school.

I'm not to enthusiastic about it.

Yeah, but that doesn't make it suck any less that you have to go back.

Oh, we're saying what classes we're in?
In my sophomore year in high school:
Spanish 2
PDM (Precalculus and Discrete Mathematics)
World History
and I lost my schedule so I don't know what the other 4 classes were. I haven't had a study hall ever:((

And for sports:
fall - cross country
winter - indoor track
spring - track

That's too bad, I'm sorry to hear that. Well you were better off than me when I started high school. It was a private school so I only knew 2 kids from my old school and I wasn't great friends with either of them. Now, one year later, I have a bunch of new friends, and hopfully you'll be able to make some new friends too.

My 2nd year of university starts on September 7th. I'm starting my English major and my History minor, so here's-a what I'm taking:
20th Century European History
Western Literature
Developmental Psychology
Literatures in English (my required 2000-level English)
Intro to Classical Greek
Should be fun, I hope.

That is kind of happening with me. I had four great friends (we still see each other, don't worry) in my old public school. Two of them are going to public school still, and the other is going to a different private school than me. Ah, well. I still know some people going to my school.

I begin with a full day in early September...

It'll be me, in Grade Nine, baby
It'll be me in Grade Nine (it'll be me in Grade Nine!)
It'll be me, in Grade Nine, baby
It'll be me in Grade Nine

That song will be my anthem.

Taking math, English, French, Canadian geography, science, phys. ed, Latin and visual arts.

Don't be singing that around campus. It might not help you win admirers. :P

Why would Sui need to win admirers? He already has one.

Heh. I'm talking about the Seniors who may not take to kindly to someone singing a song about school. I know I wouldn't. I hate school. ;)

I always get really excited about school before it starts, and then within a week I'm back to hating it.

I only got exited for school once, I think, and it was right before I went to my first day ever, like every little kid. When I hear them say "I can't wait for school!", I think, "Just wait until you're my age. Then, summer vacation won't last long enough."

Ramrod and I spent four years at a Catholic school. Theology is the school's attempt at brainwashing you into becoming a loyal minion that will not object to anything the Catholic church has said or done. As you can see there attempts failed with us two.

Heh. That's funny.

It'll just be hard for me to get used to it, since I'm coming from a public school, where even the slightest hint of religon was abolished. Now I have to learn prayers and everything. Guh.

You will learn some good prayers. They aren't hard.

Well, it's not like they give quizes on the prayers. Maybe they'll have you recite in class, but that's it really. It's not as bad as most people make it out to be.
