That's...strange to say the least.

And, as for Gameshark, I never see the need to hack into a game.

The Pokemon games are certainly glitchy, but that's part of how fun they are. I found a Mew today in my Blue version, and I haven't even defeated Misty yet.

I remember once I was playing my Gold version, and I was wandering around in the grass to the left of Cerulean at night. Suddenly a wild Spearow popped up... only it was asleep. I freaked out. Because I didn't know they could be asleep and attack you at the same time. I even nicknamed it something like "MUSTSTUDY" then left it in my box. I found out what actually had happened inabout an hour.

There's no one putting that Spearow to sleep! AAAAARRRRRGGGGLLLLBLBLBLBBLBLBLL!!!

Here are a few:

In Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt for the DS, go to survivor and go to the place that shoots you up to the top platform. Get right next to the slope and go into Morphball Mode. Next, place a bomb down. Right when the bomb explodes exit Morphball Mode and jump. You can land on the top part of the level leading to a blank room filled with Metroids.

In Super Mario 64 DS, play as Luigi and go to the outside of the castle. Go to the leftmost area and backflip on the tiny piece of land next to the waterfall. Now, start jumping backwards up the slope while flutter kicking. You will start to climb the wall. Get all the way to the top of the castle to get the final rabbit for Luigi.

This one is really weird and I haven't been able to do it again. In Burnout 2, I was on one of the first levels that was a city next to the water when I went down the lower path before crashing into some boxes. Right while I was in the middle of the area I clipped the wall and went into the water through an invisible wall. Sadly, it counted as a crash.

I will edit some more in later when I have the chance to.

Does anyone remember that rumor that in Pokemon Red or Blue if you got an Eevee, and one of each evoled form and showed them to Bill he would take you to his "secret garden" where you could catch really rare pokemon like "pikablue"? (maril)

I've heard lots of rumors about those games. My old neighbor once told me that if you caught all the pokemon, the guy who gives you the certificate would send you to the moon where you could catch mewthree. But he caught all of them and all he got was a certificate.

Mewthree? Wow, I barely know much about Pokemon, but I know thats a lame scam.

Besides, if there was a Mewthree, theyd make a direct-to-VHS-and-DVD-movie for it. :p

Here's a "cheat" I just found on a website:

website wrote:
1. Get a Golem at level 100.
2. Give him a Moon Stone.
3. Teach him these moves in order: Strength, Dig, Sesmic Toss, and Fissure. Top to bottem.
4. Go to the SS.Anne and go to where the truck is off to the left hand side. Use Stregth in front of it, it will fall into th water.
5. Then there will be steps over there walk into them, you will be telaported to the Silph. Co. pond, and in there you will find Pikablu level 0, Blastoise level 0, Mewthree level 0. When you catch it, use an escape rope and get out and there you have it.

I always wondered what that truck was for. It was so annoying. I spent hours trying to figure out how to make it move.

I've heard that one. There's plenty of other rumors like that, most of which aren't true.

Well... in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, there's a room with a MK-VII gate by a door somewhere in the indoor section of the Temple Grounds. I was facing the right side of the gate at an angle, with my back to the wall at the gate's right. I recall dropping into Morph Ball to drop a Power Bomb and decimate the gate, but as soon as I hit it, the game slowed down, and I could see each frame of the rolling-up animation until finally it completed, at which point normality resumed.

I've not been able to duplicate it, and I hope it wasn't just a freak accident in the inner workings of my GCN, because it was cool.

Of course, those crazy Japanese kids got a frickin' Mew instead of the certificate.

But we unlucky Americans had to use the unbelievably easy Mew Glitch to get Mew before we even beat Misty! How unfair!

Yeah, that was sarcasm. Yeah, you can catch a Mew using a glitch before you beat Misty. Yeah, I did it.

How about Banjo Kazooie's fabled "Swop N' Stop"? There was a cheat you could enter that opened up those random closed egg places. Once you get one secret thing, you can never get it again, and every single saved game on the cartridge has it too. Man, that was annoying. http://www.rarewitchproject.com figured everything out. They ultra-hacked.

How can you get it that early? Don't you need the Fly HM?

That's the most heard-of way. But you don't need to use the Gambler west of Lavender Town nor the kid with the Slowpoke.

1. Go up Nugget Bridge
2. Enter the grass to the left, DO NOT FIGHT THE TRAINER
3. Catch an Abra
4. Go up until the Trainer is just off-screen. Stand above him.
5. Go down one space and press start really fast
6. Select Abra, Teleport back to the Cerulean City Pokemon Center. An exclamation point should appear above the Trainer's head.
7. (You won't be able to access the start menu or talk to people)
8. Enter the Pokemon Gym.
9. Walk up the bridge, and fight the first Swimmer. He must move toward you! Talk to him from behind and the game will freeze!
10. After defeating him, go back to Nugget Bridge and head up it.
11. Your start menu will pop up all by itself. Close it by pressing B or whatever.
12. A wild Mew will appear! It's level 7, but still kinda hard to catch.
