So where is it? What are you settings?

Personally, I prefer mine on the left side of the screen, on auto hide, with a fair number of icons in my quicklaunch (I hate shortcuts on my desktop). I personally find the vertical taskbar very convenient, all your windows stack very nicely, and I commonly have 6+ open at one time.

I also set the itunes toolbar on, so itunes player will show in my taskbar.

Mine is on the bottom.

When I first got Windows 95, I kept it on the top, and then on the side for awhile, but eventually I relented. It really works best on the bottom, IMO.

I don't use any other toolbars or anything. I control iTunes with FoxyTunes (since if I'm on the computer, I almost always have Firefox open).

Oh, and my current theme is XPM Classic with the compact Start menu.

I put a little toolbar that goes to the desktop. I size it all the way as small as it can go so it just says "Desktop >>", and then I can click on the arrow and all my desktop icons will come up in a menu. I put in a few quick launch icons that I want (notepad, email, Firefox, Calculator, show active desktop, d-link)

I have it on the bottom, it works out well. I only auto-hide it when I'm watching a movie or Homestar Runner or something.
