That's a sad story. I might get to go see it! It said that "Lockheed plans to enter Sam in a similar contest in March in Del Mar." Then I could go see it!

Incidentally, i was looking through Snopes urban legends and came upon that picture, wo ndering why no one had posted about it in any forums I'd seen, and now.......
But I did read that the dog is having some health problems and won't be able to defend as world's ugliest dog.

Jibb-a-lie jibb-a-lie jibb-a-lay.

Tim-- that was on Snopes? I must not have been there for a while, because I haven't seen it. Ughhhh... I'm glad I have kittens.

Yup, on Snopes.
Forgot to mention that what made it so weird was that I was looking at it TODAY right before coming here. Maybe it is fairly new....well try looking under "pictures".

If I didn't know better I'd think that dog was already dead.

I don't understand how that lady can like that ugly dog so much. I'd need to have a chemical shower after I got within 500 feet of that thing.

Be glad you don't have this kitten.

Heh heh.

That is one ugly dog. Maybe it's dead, and some guy is moving it with puppet strings. :p

Or maybe not.

Hey! That sort of reminds me of those singing rats on that old Quiznos commercial (i.e., the "Let's thoroughly disgust our potential customers and make them lose their appetites" rats).

They don't make me want to run out and buy subs, that's for sure.

Yeah, but neither does the talking baby that they have now.

However... I still crave Quiznos on a regular basis. Spongemonkeys, Baby Bob, heck, they could probably have that ugly dog as a mascot, and I'd still eat there WAY more than I should.

Mmm... Quiznos. :kot:

That thing is a Chinese Crested who has lost all it's hair and its 15 years old, and completely blind.
It's unfair and cruel, and should definitely be left to live out it's final days in peace, not being paraded around and poked and prodded and laughed at.

Very unfair, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, especially a defenceless little dog.

That's true. Now that you say that, I completely agree with you.
I wouldn't want my dog doing all that if she was all blind and stuff.

I've been spending too much time talking to dog-people on the dogzonline.com.au forums.
Anything you say will set one of them off on a rampage!!
