Okay, so in this dream, I was playing Super Mario Galaxy on my Nintendo DS. It only had one screen in the dream, but it was somehow understood to be a Nintendo DS. It was 3D like the Wii version, but the levels were different. I was trying to beat it as Luigi, and had almost made it to the final battle with Bowser, but the game ended up turning into Super Mario Advance 4, and I was in a cavern level that isn't in the actual game, still playing as Luigi. I ended up losing all lives there, and since I hadn't saved, I was sent back to Donut Plains 1 in Super Mario World, apparently. It wasn't called Donut Plains 1, though; I don't remember what it WAS called, but I remember there being a zero in it somewhere. Luigi had turned into Mario, and I wasn't playing it on a one-screen Nintendo DS anymore, but now on a Super Nintendo hooked up to the TV in the living room. I started the level, and beat it, but two Spinies (which aren't in that level in the real game...) were on either side of Mario when I beat it, so Mario walked into one of them and died. The Special Zone theme played instead of the death sound, which is only supposed to happen when Mario dies on the title screen. I was somehow now at a glitched cavern level, and Mario had turned into Peach. *insert jibblie smiley here* The first time I tried playing that level, Peach somehow had a cold for like 15-20 seconds, and Bubs' Concession Stand was trying to squash her at the beginning (but didn't manage to). I didn't beat that level on the first try, so I went through it again, and neither the cold nor Bubs' Concession Stand was there. I didn't beat the level on the second or third try, either. On the fourth try, I got to some pipe I guessed was the exit pipe. Then, apparently, sometime while I was playing that level, the game had turned into a computer game on my computer, as my sister came into my room from the left (even though my door is on the right) and I explained what had happened to the game. Then she left. I went back to the game, but woke up before I could see where the pipe led.

The odd thing is, I hadn't played any of those games or watched any Homestar Runner toons before bed the night before... Probably came about because I was thinking about DumDeDum's dream.

Two weird dreams in the last week, guys.

Funny dream (Two nights ago):
I get stinkin' drunk at one point in my dream last night by drinking blueberry flavored beer by Schwapps.

Also, Hyrule, black holes and flying to England was involved.

Zombie dream:
So I dreamt last night that my school was harboring a zombie, and it finally attacked someone, starting a chain reaction. Since it was school, most of us were defenseless, so we could only run away. Often, taking the wrong turn resulted in running into zombies, and I was part of a rather large group who made it out the right way and into this massive field where we could sleep for the night. The large group also contained seagulls and road runners, since seagulls could simply fly away from danger and road runners are fast. Anyway, I'm sleeping near the edge of the group when I wake up and switch positions. Lo and behold, I see my best friend as a zombie about ten feet away. Don't know how she became a zombie, as she's pretty fast in real life, but hey, I was running fast in my dream, so take that continuity! Anyway, I alert the camp by screaming 'ZOMBIE!' and run to the building. My zombified friend chases me and a group of ten or so peers plus my english teacher. We make it to a classroom and I have to shut the door on this one guy since my friend-zombie was almost inside the room anyway. I turn my head just when his arm gets ripped off and we stay there and be as quiet as possible. For some reason, there were a few guns in the room, including a pistol and a shotgun, and there were only four or five, meaning some would have to go defenseless. I happen to choose the pistol, and we sit and wait until a zombie breaks in. That's when we run for it and go our seperate ways. I end up taking a wrong turn and reach a zombie mosh pit with several zombies cornering me. I shoot, I kill a few, but I run out of ammo. That's when I realized I was having a dream, so I try to force myself awake before the 'scary part' happens. I couldn't open my eyes, so I took my dream arms and force my eyes open with my fingers. The weirdest part was when I noticed that I had control of my arms in the waking world, and I woke myself up in the same way I exited the nightmare. Creepy.

Then, I fall back asleep, and I dream of more zombie goodness. For some reason, it's now a simulation/game, where I introduce the seagulls and roadrunners immediately, causing those two groups to zombify quickly. I wake myself up using the same method, but guess what? I seem to have burple nurples on my belly. I pick them off, but lose 'consciousness' again, this time being DIxie Kong and finding the source of the zombification. Three sisters. The blue one was pretty friendly and offered assistance, including a safe haven from the zombie apocalypse. The green one was kind of mean, but easy to defeat. The red one, however, was totally hostile and pretty hard to kill. But, I defeat those two and everything in Hyrule is back to normal. No one believes my story, even when I explained that the fish couldn't be zombified because water is a safe zone.

God, I really have to stop thinking about how to integrate my 'fired' storyline with the 'berries' storyline in my Neurosis comic. Though it is really hilarious. Apparently, my visualization/dream of how things go down segwayed into the zombie dream somehow. I dunno. Probably has something to do with Randy stepping on a bear cub and ticking off the mother.

But, that works awesomely.

Very odd dream last night.
I was in school, mkay? We were installing some kind of program on a computer in a library and my chair starts floating. It floats all the way around the school before dumping me out in the library and who should walk in but all my classmates and Korn [yes the band]. At first I was like 'wtf' but then once Jonathan FUNKIN' Davis walked in I was a happy fangirl.

Then I woke up once again all 'wtf'.

I had a weird dream that shows my subconscious hates me, because I was in an airport, only instead of luggage there were like wrapped presents. And there was a mix-up, because this important luggage item I had was right next to another one and both were wrapped with the same wrapping paper, so I was really worried that somebody would confuse them and I'd end up with the wrong one, so I pretty much ran around the airport trying to warn everybody or stop everything or move them apart from each other or... I dunno really. It wasn't very fun though.

Either that's a sports newb move, or that was the actual, though nonsensical score in the dream.

It was. And they DIDN'T EVEN SET A RECORD FOR RUNS SCORED.

Aww, you shouldn't wake yourself up if you figure out that you're dreaming. Next time you realize, and you think there'll be a 'scary part', just try to will yourself somewhere else. It's a dream, it'll work.

If I ever know that I'm dreaming, I'll grab it by the horns and use it as a way of entertainment. I'll keep myself in the world for as long as possible to explore its possibilities.

To be honest, I couldn't get control of what was happening. I never do. Though I need to practice if I'm able to lucid dream. And besides, I went right back into the awesomeness.

But having control of my arms whilst asleep is creepy.

I don't remember much of this one, and only the very end, but apparently I was traveling in an enchanted forest with some friends and somehow we came into this like house inside of a tree sort of, where this guy who lived there gave us shelter and food and some advice. The two rules for traveling in an enchanted forest are apparently 1. Try not to get caught up in the forest, try to go straight and get in and out as fast as possible and 2. Stick together. So then we got out of there, and some more people fell from the sky to travel with us, I think like a kid and his dad. And the dad looked like Fred Willard. So then we escaped and I found out that we were right outside some old abandoned fairground. And I was like "ONOZ IT'S HAUNTED" and then I heard this spooky evil laugh right in my right ear and then I woke up.

I was fighting Darkseid with the Legion of Super Heroes in The Great Darkness Saga. I think I was Wildfire, except I was a human in the suit, not energy. Anyway, I did something really stupid and dangerous (I can't remember what) and I killed Darkseid and all of Daxam. And then I was a hero, but some member who I was supposedly best friends with was mad at me and he wouldn't talk to me. Then we teleported to Earth in the present and we lost our powers. Then some person being chased by the paparazzi hid in a Smart Car that magically appeared out of nowhere. Then I woke up.

Yeah, it's even better when you all of a sudden, recognize that you can control your dream. I've taken down people twice my size with a single thought. I once broke a guy's ankle. Yes, I know it's sick thing to be proud of. ;)

Oh man I was this close to being lucid last night. See, my most common dream is that I'm standing on the windowsill of my bedroom, and then I jump off and fly away. (and then the dream is always different after that) So that happened, and I thought "Huh, just like in my dreams." AND I DID NOT PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER. :-|

Argh, this is annoying. Whenever I find out "Oh, crap! This is a dream!" I immediately wake up. That's not nice of my brain... :-(

I don't. Sometimes I step in and comment on stuff in my dreams.

I had this weird dream where we were all cows and sleeping in trees. And then some girl turned into a weird mutant and people she touched would disappear. And then a guy shot her with a shotgun and she vanished. And then more mutants appeared and were about to get into the room where we were all crowded. I realized in my dream, "Oh hey, I remember having this dream before. I already know how it ends, so I think I'll just wake up." So I did.
