The Bruins just beat the Sens 3-0. Although it would be a terrible thing if I got sucked into not worrying about the trade. There's still a lot of time these guys need to play, and we'll see if the trade was worth it. But this is a hopeful sign! |

The secret to the Sens success is their offense. The trio of Havlat. Alfredsson and Heatley are pretty much unstoppable. |

Yeah, that's pretty much true. But the B's looked good defending against them tonight. Of course, Toivonen helps a ton as well. |

Ok we have a three way tie for second in the Northeast division. The Habs, Leafs and Sabres are battling for the spot. There has been a movie made about Maurice Richard. It was released in Quebec to an overwhelming positive reaction from both fans and critics. There is only a French version right now. I would like to see this movie. Hopefully they will release an English version. |

This thread is pretty depressing. I'm a Blues fan. Thankfully, my school's team is currently ranked #8 in the nation, and just beat Michigan last night in an amazing game. So I have that going for me. |

How long have the Thrashers been around? 5-6 years? They are still a relatively new team so give them time |

Yeah, well getting rid of Thornton wasn't exactly the best decision they've ever made. Speaking of hockey, hooray for Bryan McCabe. He's kicking some serious butt right now. Too bad the Leafs have no other good defensemen, because he really ought to be a forward. Watch out, Al McInnis, there's a new slapshot in town!! |

I don't think anyone will catch Ottawa. They are too good right now. Alfredsson, Heatly and Havlat are lighting up the scoreboard where ver they go, and Hasek is back being the Dominator. I know it is still relatively early in the season but barring anything unforseen, the Sens are going to be the Beast of the East. |

Yeah, well getting rid of Thornton wasn't exactly the best decision they've ever made. I don't know...it should probably be "Bruins" instead of "Boston Sports Team". The B's are known for these descisions. Like Sinden before him, O'Connel sucks as a GM. |

Yeah, I know, but the Bruins are the most infamous of all of them, IMO. Then again, there was the Red Sox and Bambino. Then again, again, Theo made some great deals. Then again x3, he's gone now. Yeah, I see your point. But the B's have constantly made bad descisions. |

Go Flames. Wee. Yeah. I'm a Flames fan. 4 points ahead of Edmonton in the Northwest, so that's good. I just got a Flames jersey while I was in Canada. And it is this one. And it was cool, because the jersey was sold out EVERYWHERE else in Calgary, and in the rest of the Saddledome. And luckily, it fit me. I wanted to get it customized, but they didn't have any I's, S's, E's, R's, T's or any of those stupid common letters. And my name includes those stupid common letters. But probably the coolest thing about the jersey was that at least %50 of the crowd was wearing that jersey. |

The junior's tournament is basically like watching hockey five years from now, so I'll wait until then to see it. But, I can't complain right now. I just wons me a free Flyers jersey..FREE! You know how much those things cost? |

At least Montreal is still in the playoff hunt. What happened, the Habs were leading the division not all that long ago, now they are in Fourth in their division and eighth in the Eastern Conference. |

Now is a great time to have gotten one. #2 in the conference, 5-0-1 record so far on their 11 game road trip - w00t!

How about the freaking Rangers? I'd figure they would be hanging out with Pittsburgh and Washington in the basement. |

They might as well be because everyone knows the Flyers are going to win the division. Sorry, New Yawkas. At least you aren't the Penguins. |

Well picking up Peter Forsberg certainly doesn't hurt anything. That was the steal of the Lockout. |
