hey,
anyone amazed at how the car clubs around the country have been makin lowriders? there awesome, i have a lowrider bike and am in a car club called the triads, but ive been wonderin somthing important, and this may sound racial, but not intended to be: Who Made the lowrider first? Hispanics or black people? i mean, now a days in rap music videos, or some, umm, Gangsters drive lowriders, but there not really good lowriders like The Joker from Red's, but if youve been around East L.A. a few times, you see some Hispanics ridin in a chevy impala custom with a hydraulics system and custom paint job and art. so, my question, once again, Who made the lowrider first? or rather Who Invented the Lowrider? Black or hispanic people?

My dad, who's outta touch with anything post-1970, went crazy go nuts on some guy for having "too much weight in his truck", not realizing the truck was in fact designed as a lowrider.

man that shouldnt be named Cholo, and they dont mention that lowriders were made by the hispanics because they were tired of all the drug wars, shootings and wars with other gangs. so they dropped all gang relation, and got interested in cars. they used old bombers as the basic lowrider at the time. and for a few fleeting years, lowriders were peaceful, a great hobby for the hispanic living in east LA, until gangs got involved in them, and the cars were then associated with gangs. and after those years, the low suspension of a lowrider was made ilegal, so we had to find a way to lower our suspension at will by pressing a button, then raising it back up when passing cops. one smart young hispanic had thought of many ways to do it, he thought an inflatable shock to lower and raise them. but that failed. after many attempts with other things, it clicked in his head: Hydraulics. he purchased a hydraulics pump, attatched it to his car, took the spring off his suspension, and put the hydraulics on it. thus, the hopping action of the lowrider began. after that, lowriders popped up all accross the world, and some jappaneese people inherited the culture of lowriders, and started acting like em. for a few months, the hispanic lowrider culture hated that everyone else had took their culture away from them, so it wasnt orrigional anymore. but in a few years, they accepted it, because lowriders was all about peace between brothers. in the coming years, like the 90's and 2000's, the black culture inherited the lowrider culture, and began puting using them in gangs, once again symbilizing the lowrider involved with gangs, and violence. since then, theyve been used by gangsters, and the peace that was meant for the lowrider vanished. but on the sides, faithful hispanic's started hopping contests, and made tournaments for how high you could get your lowrider to hop. the record was 20 feet high. then they crated the dancin hoppers, that litteraly bounce on the side wheels, or all four wheels used with 4 hydraulics pumps. thats what im saying, what about you guys?

well the people youve seen in a lowrider hit a speed bump were new to using the hydraulics controlls. besides, like i said earlier, lowering your cars suspension is ilegal now a days, so they use hydraulics to lower it, and raise it, and smart lowrider owners learn how to increase ur suspention incase of bumps.
