I have faith in the Nintendo localization teams. The original may not have been as popular here as it was in Japan, but it's still a huge cult hit here, and I'm certain if we fans are vocal enough, someone will lend us a listen.

I'm so looking forward to one-handed gaming. As a leftie, I've always wondered at how man different ways they can make a game controller, and how many ways one can use it.

My crowning acheivement on the N64: totally destroying my brother in Mario Kart, playing as Bowser, and with only my left hand. That ruled.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm really looking forward to the DS Lite. I found a few reviews of it, and after seeing them, I'm convinced that I want one.

Oh man I cannot wait for the Revolution. I've been keeping up with all the updats I can. It looks like it's gonna be awesome. Plus, I can't afford an X360 and I won't be able to afford a PS3. I needs a job. But anyway, the Revo's the one I'm goin' for.

Captain N fansite with a few pretty in-depth episode reviews, but the REALLY amusing/painful stuff is in the "misc." section, where they've got downloads of the first two issues of the Captain N comic book! Yes, there are probably more of those online elsewhere, but it's the only place I know of to look. They're so horrible they're actually really fun. "I've played you hundreds of times!" is so my new pick-up line. If, you know, I ever meat a hot video game character.

I'm not getting a DS lite simply because I don't need one. I'll get one if my DS ever breaks (not likely, DS's are freakin' projectiles)

I can't wait for the Revolution to come out. Super Smash Bros. Revolution is going to be awesome... I like the look of the controller. And I think something's wrong with my GameCube, I was just now playing Paper Mario TTYD and the music doubled... I just got this new copy on Sunday. The old PMTTYD disc broke.

Ages ago, on a long-forgotten message board, there was a topic about the durability of Nintendo hardware. XD There were kid who'd dropped their Game Boys out of many-story windows and still had 'em intact! Crazy!

My Game Boy's been dropped lots, but unfortunately, its speakers don't work any more. But I have a shiny Game Boy player, so it's all good. I just keep my Game Boy because nobody else would probably buy it...

I wonder if the army has used Nintendo material for bomb shelters, tanks, ships, and airplanes. Or visa versa.

At this Nintendo store in NYC, they have a game boy that was bombed during the Vietnam war. The game "Tetris" is fused in the system, and guess what? It works.

Holy-freaking-Helmasaurs! What did I tell you? That crud is indestructable, man!

Figures, though. You get a tiny speck of dust INSIDE one and it refuses to work without sporadically freezing up until you blow it clean.

But, don't you mean the GULF war or something like that? There were no Game Boys during the Vietnam war. Heck, there weren't even Ataris! XD

The ye olde gameboys had one weakness though, the dreaded Lines. This happened to mine, one day a vertical line devoid of pixles would appear on the screen. Annoying, but you could still play a game without trouble. But then the lines would multiply. Soon, huge gaps would pop up on the screen and before you knew it there was just one big empty space across the screen thus renedering the GB useless.

Roffle. That reminds me of this letter someone wrote in to Nintendo Power. This person (who lived in California btw) was playing their N64 one day as usual. Suddenly, the ground started rumbling and the house shook. It was an earthquake, as you may have figured. Well, during said quakeing of the earth the person's TV fell off the stand and landed screen down on the N64, completely destroying the screen and most of the inner workings. When all was said and done, they took the TV off the floor and found the system still under it, with hardly a scratch. He plugged it in, and sure enough it worked!

Ironically enough, he game he was playing, was Quake.

Ba-da-chh! There are no good natural disasters where I live, so I can't use them to test my hardware. Well, OK, we do get massive droughts, which is pretty disasterous, but what's that gonna do to my systems, dehydrate them?

Well, I'm a little late in posting here, but I have long been a Nintendo fan.
I've owned an NES, an N64, a Gameboy Color, and I currently have a Gamecube.

My view of Nintendo
I only have three problems with Nintendo.
1. The N64 controllers wear down very easily.
2. The Gamecube should have had more emphasis on multi console play.
3. Just after I got my Gameboy, a newer version came out.

My view of Microsoft
Even if you are a Nintendo fan, you have to show the Xbox some respect. The raw power of these Dreadnaughts is exceeded only by their price tags. (Edit) The controlers are too hard to use.

My View of Sony
I find the low structural integrity of a PS2 to be poetic justice. It's just so ironic that Sony would sell the most systems, only to be handing out the least durable of the three consoles. A friend of mine has a PS2 that has trouble reading disks now.

Sure, I have some respect for Xbox, but there are so many overwhelming flaws with it, I find it incredibly hard to like. There aren't that many good games for it, the original controllers were made for some sort of octopus, and it may just burn down your house. The only real positive I can see is the Xbox Live stuff.

Well, the hard-to-use controller is a very stunning blow to gameplay.
But I don't think the Xbox has any major downsides, other than that.

If you think about it, why should we argue about what shall soon pass?
The Revolution will be just as good as the 360 and PS3, if not better. Am I right?

Xbox. I hate. I seriously, hate. Everyone flocks to it (in my school) and says "Ohhh! Xbox has better graphics then Gamecube"

IT DOESN'T! There are tons of games on both Xbox and Gamecube that have the same graphics.

Also, Xbox's main games are war and racing games. They need variaty.

I'm not much of a racing games person, with the exception of games like Mario Cart and Star Wars: Podracer.

I think the main reason why a lot of people go to Xbox is because of Halo. I think it's cool, but it's not my cup of tea. The main reason why I defend the Xbox is because Microsoft seems to have the biggest selection of Star Wars games. If there were Gamecube versions of 'Knights of the Old Republic' or "Battlefront I and II" I wouldn't give the Xbox much thought. Mario is much more important to me than Halo.
