I will pwn you all when I get my hands on a revolution. ph34r my Luigi-induced wrath.

Terribly sorry, but nobody in this thread, nay, the wiki, nay the WHOLE WORLD, has ever beaten me. And nobody ever will.

Seriously. I have never lost to anybody else. I'm not lying.

. . .We should totally do a tournament! I read a news thing where Iwata said they were going to have our favorite Revolution out by Thanksgiving.

*rushes to piggy bank, greedily counts money, disappointed to only find 63.27. Not enough for a revoultion*

Oh well.

As soon as any of youse guys can have a full bob-omb volley in mid-air, you'll be ready to face me and my friends.

Since I use Link, L-canceling is essential for his down stab, and wave dashing is nice, as Link is relatively slow.

Unfortunately, Kerrek_Slaya is right. Here is the article. Personally, I can't wait. And I'll destroy you all as Kirby. Maybe.

Heh, didn't I reply to this? *was certain she did, but, oh well.* I've no clue as to how I stack up against other random people in SSB, but I suppose I shall find out soon enough! *starts saving* I'm a Nintendo fangirl to be sure. Yaaaah!

The Brotherhood of Smash?

Random: I actually developed rules (and more than a few cards for) a SSB trading card game. No idea what I'd do with such a thing, though...

Card Game? I made a full board game. I considered sending it to Milton Bradley. I wonder. . .

*tries to find it*

Didn't find it.

Voila, the Nintendo DS Lite!

You can't handle the awesome. I know I'll be getting one.

When I get the money.

Heh. I love that article for some reason.

Introducing the new redesigned Nintendo DS.

Trim your current DS 1cm in width, height and thickness, replace with real squishy buttons, move the Start/Select buttons around, move the mic to the center hinge, and make your device sexy Apple-white; voilà my friends. Nintendo DS lite.

Of course, this awesome new DS would be something I would get if I had the money, but I'll be using my old DS for quite some time.

Personally, I hate it (DS_Kid hates a DS!?! :o). The buttons look uneven with the D-Pad (Though it's only a photoshop image) and the mic is in too awkward a spot for my taste. I also think the Start and Select buttons were better in the SNES controller design and the hinges look a little too weird. Lighter or not, it's pretty crappy for my tastes, especially when the original has been out for a little over a year.

EDIT: Oh, and the cursed GBA-sized D-pad is back.

EDIT EDIT: The Revolution-like A,B,X, and Y buttons are hot, though. Compliment +1.

Are you sure? It seems like I read something somewhere debunking that.

You know, when I look at the trophy mat in SSBM, it kinda looks like it's some sort of strategy game/collectiable miniatures game...

Hey, if the iPod Guru can hate an iPod, than a DS_Kid can definitely hate a DS.
Personally, I think it's uber hawt. Something about that color just makes me go wild.
And I'll also be getting a Revolution. I'll have enough money for one by Christmas. Easy.
Actually, I still owe my mom $200...and I need to buy an Xbox 360 hard drive, and Perfect Dark Zero...
Maybe not this year. But I will get the Revo. I would get the DS Lite, but it's really pointless since I already have a fully working DS. That is already pretty small.

I can just see my setup now...
50" HDTV. To the right of it, Xbox 360. To the left of it, A white Nintendo Revolution. On the shelf above, Logitech 5.1 surround sound.

Man, I need to get a job, or something.

:p

Yeah, me too. Probably because it doesn't take the "OMG REDESIGN!!!1!" angle.

Seriously? I thought you of all people would appreciate the new, pwnsome design.

But then again I though basically same thing about the SP. So, to each their own, or something.

When the Revolution comes out, and you can't find it in the stores, a site I would recommend is http://revolutiontracker.com/

I used the sister site, Xbox 360 Tracker to buy my 360.

Good luck in getting them!

Just thought you guys might want to know that Zelda: Twilight Princess has apparantly been delayed.... again. http://www.joystiq.com/2006/02/19/zelda-twilight-princess-delay-is-official/
We won't be playing it until fall, it seems. I'm too depressed to be angry right now, give me a couple of hours.

If this is the case, this Zelda game better have the best graphics, sound, and worlds compared to the other Zeldas. But, this still reminds me of the numerous delays of OOT. So, it'll probably be excellent.

EDIT: The only thing I'm worried about it now is that it'll get less sales since that's supposed to be around the time the Revolution launches.

It's depressing, but someone noted that they were pretty sure the episode referenced was an old one. But if it is real, then I'll wait. After all... "A delayed game is eventually good; a rushed game is bad forever."

I hope NOA does something special to recognize this. But they probably won't.

Then again, they did give us the Famicom Micro. (Which I want a whole bunch!)

1up had an article where it showed off a bunch of the awesome swag Nintendo released in Japan to commemorate the series' anniversary. 'Course, knowing our luck, we'll never get it. But you could always buy a T-shirt or jacket with Link on it from Hot Topic...
