Does anyone remember Pocky? Sadly, this craze/fad of her artwork as avatars has passed, which I hoped it never would. I basically invited her in with my Homestar Wars topic. I gave her praise for her writings and art. When the Pocky craze died down, in an attempt to return it, I opened the PockyMart (which SeeThroo huffed and puffed away when the Banner and Avatar Force opened). I talked with her over AIM many times. She became like a friend to me.

No Homestar Wars chapters. No updats to her dA page. No new posts. Never on AIM. What has happened to her?

I wear my Pocky avatar proudly - I have seldom changed it since I got it. I encourage anyone who has an old one tsored somewhere to do the same, for one day, in Memory of Whitney and her amazing talents.

And hopefully, someday, she'll continue her trend of greatness...

Heh, I feel priveleged. Being a RL friend of Pocky, I know she's been really busy lately. Plus her scanner broke, which is why her deviant art site is lacking in updates. I often encourage her to post, but I'm sure I can coerce her to reply to a topic in her honor. Maybe.

And yeah, she draws way too well.

Yeah, I still have my custom-made avatar in my rotator. I would've gotten a second one, but she never sent me my third-place prize... although my request was one of Filmdalf, and I just abandoned LotS. Bah.

Whats pocky?

Pocky is the name of a very talented artist that is one here every so often. She is also known as T0_T3h_M00n. She makes awesome drawings of anime-esque H*R characters.

I too am a "RL" friend of Pocky, and Eldiran is right. She has SAT prep and AP World stuff almost everyday (if not so), so she has better things to do than peruse the interweb.

She just told me to emphasize the business and lack of scannerage.

Ah, SAT prep, hate that (don't question me. Yes I'm 13, yes i took the SATs) Good luck to Pocky on that one...if she hasn't already taken it. I have my old Pocky avatar somewhere. I'll dig it up and use it for a while. Goooood times.

EDIT: Unfortunatley, i could not find my original Pockey, but here is one that I once got at PockyMart. Nobody has used it since.

Mein scanner ist kaputt. That's pretty much reason why my DA page is...dead. As soon as I get a new one, I'll post everything I've drawn over the summer.

You can always, ALWAYS contact me on AIM. I'm almost consistently on, and if I don't respond, it doesn't mean I don't like you, it means I'm in another room and forgot to put up an away message, because I do that a lot. Keep trying, because I will eventually get back to you.

Here's why I'm never on/constantly busy:
School starts for me on Tuesday. I'm going to be a Junior, which means I need to buckle down so I can get me into a good college. I'm in an SAT prep class that's 4 hours on Saturdays and 1 hour during the week that gives ungodly amounts of homework. School gives me ungodly amounts of homework, too. I play three instruments that need practicing, write for my local paper, am an active member of my school's orchestra, Spanish Honors Society and drama club, and work at a haunted house that's opening soon. And I want to start an original manga. I also need to get good grades and do well on every standardized test they throw at me this year.

NT, I have your original avy if you want it. It's Homestar and Mrs. Benedetto, isn't it? I'll dig it up for you. Heck, I still have all the avys I made for people. PM me if you want them.

I'm sorry if I don't post a lot. I'm still around, don't worry. And I don't want this to sound mean or "get off my case"-ish. Cuz it's not. I'm just explaining myself/throwing out excuses.
