Okay, so we seem to have a few videogames threads around here. So he go another. What is the most difficult videogame you've ever played? For me it would have to be Battletoads for the NES. The first level- easy. The second level- hard. Third level- extremely hard. Fourth level- very hard. Fifth level- extrememly hard. I can't get any farther (there are twelve levels in all.) (The World of Battletoads.) Although it is insanely fun, it is also insanely hard. So, before picking off pieces of your PSP from your wall, vent here. Ready go. |

First Reply! 1. Sonic Heroes (Multi) 2. Nanostray (DS) 3. Spiderman 2 (DS) EDIT- Oh, you're looking for the most hard. Well, I've heard Viewfiful Joe is hard, but, from what I've played it's got to be Nanostray. |

Guh. That would have to be Paper Mario (2) for the GCN. The game is fun, but the bosses DRIVE ME NUTS! |

In my opinion, Halo 2 on Legendary is frickin' insanely hard, even if you're playing Co-op mode. In Halo 1, I could hold my own by myself, but when a friend gets involved, it's game on! Not Halo 2, though! If your partner dies, it sends BOTH of you to the last saved checkpoint! Argle! |

Viewtiful Joe is not hard. At all. Pretty much every Pre-SNES game is hard. |

I've never played it, but I've heard that Ghosts 'n Goblins (NES) is one of the hardest games ever. |

Beat Final Fantasy VII. Beat Battletoads. And I rented them. But the hardest game of ALL time is: Jurassic Park for the SNES. This thing had no save points and took hours and hours and it was very easy to get eaten by like a raptor. It's the only game I own that I did not beat. And I've had it since 1993. |

Also, there are more enemies in co-op. Many, many more. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Up to the final boss, it's very hard. The final boss is... well, I have all the health cannisters and I still haven't beaten it. Devil May Cry 3. On normal, it's pretty darn hard. I haven't tried easy mode. Ninja Gaiden. No explanation needed. Um... that's all I can think of for now. Edit: I just realized, I named a game for each platform. Heh. |

I know what you mean, Seethroo. It's almost impossible for me to get to one checkpoint on Legendary. And I hate how it reverts you even if one of you dies. |

Not really, if you play the edited version where the goomba does something to not get you killed(I forgot what it does), that is.

What about WWF: No Mercy for the N64? I got to the last chapter and I kept on getting beat. That game had cheap AI. But, it was really fun .

I know a lot of games that are really easy, up until the end, which is just IMPOSSIBLE. Do those count? I mean, they're really hard to BEAT. |

I have a few obscure ones for the SNES. First, Super Adventure Island, where if you STOOD STILL for too long, your health would deplete. Next, Harley's Humongous Adventure. Blug. Final Fantasy 2 for the SNES is nigh impossible, and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for the GBA is hard. And I gave up on Advance Wars 2. |

Any game where you need to go back and collect something in all of the levels. I think the only one of those I've completely beaten is the first Rayman. |

Holy wow, man, you're right. That game is nigh-impossible. I only beat it with the help of the Internet. But ONLY for that dang colored pegs puzzle inside the gold dome. Blug, that puzzle. |
