Are any of you taking the NaNoWriMo challenge this year? The National Novel Writing Month is the challenge to write of novel of at least 50,000 words in the month of November. You get seven days of prewriting, then thirty days of writing. It's a "quanity over quality" thing. I know I'm attempting it. Are any of you?

I can write short stories, but not 50,000 word novels. So I'm not entering.

The noveling begins in about 15 days. I'm going to post my novel on the forum. The site is open, which has its own forums where ideas and encouragement are shared. Anyone else thinking about it?

Me and my friend have aboot...10 (kinda small) novel ideas. But I'm only 10. It would be hard.

I think it would be easier. If you can fling 1667 or more words at a Microsoft Word document everyday for thirty days, and have the words relate in some way, you can write a novel. Plus there's the matter of you having about half as much schoolwork/homework as you'll have in another year or two.

Hmm, I guess I'll try.

I'll be using aboot one of my ten ideas for it. I think it's good.
