Bad mouthing David Bowie?!?!?! What's come over the youth these days. Worst movie eh.... That's a toughie. I thought Thirteen Ghosts was pretty lame. Dungeons and Dragons was terrible as well. I dunno. |

just about any Disney Sequel will qualify for this catagory but the worst one in my opinion was Atlantis 2 I didn't like it |

I'll go ahead and agree with Jesty on this one. Sky Captain was pretty horrific. Of course, I'm sure the Harry Potter movies would rank worse on my list, but I refuse to watch any of those on principal alone. And yes, most Disney movies suck, but that could just be my cynical, attitude-laden teenage side talking there. I'm not really sure. |

The only things I remember about Labyrinth is that guy that said "SMELL BAD!" and the fact that I liked it better than Dark Crystal.. Other than that, the movie doesn't really stick out in my mind. I know it should, though. Thirteen Ghosts just seemed like it ended too quickly.. They spent all this time building and building the story, then the producers were like "Oh, crap, we've spent too much money, just end it, now!" Seriously, watch it. In writing classes, they show you that whole diagram where the story builds, peaks, then declines to a finish. In this movie, it slowly climed to a peak, like someone climbing to the top of the Eifel Tower, then, instead of a gradual decline, they jumped off.. The ending showed up that quickly. |

Dante Hicks wrote: The Wizard, or Halloween H20.. Both were crapfests. The Wizard was a young teenager flick about video games, so it wasn't going to be totally wonderful or anything.
H20 doesn't have that excuse. It was a sequel for a pretty good horror film. There should be a law that, if you do a sequel or a remake, you have to make it as good as, if not better than, the original. Okay, on your horror movie thesis, lets look at some. Friday The 13th gets a sequel called Part 2. Then they move onto Part 3, in 3-D EMPHASIS. Then, The Final Chapter. Better than first. They then brought em back for some sucky, actually brought the real guy back, did some hypnosis, moved to New York, went to heck and met Freddy at the end, fought Freddy in a better than first I belive, and then bombed at the offices when he became RoboCop's cousin. The reason about that is, people are just looking for something to do with this. They can make any script, put Jason in it, and think it'll be better. That is what they do with Mario. If the guy that made Halloween didnt sacked after Season of The Witch, H20 could've been better. It's also a fact that horror movies have been dwindling in popularaty since the 80's. Tough luck, and it sucks. Worst Movie? Plan 9. Manos Hands'a Fate. Catwoman.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. There's a right and a wrong way to let someone know their topic had already been created. The wrong way is to call them a jerky just to increase your post count, and the right way is to say something like this: "Sorry, but I think this has already been posted, but don't worry. This happens a lot." To be fair, you normally should do a quick search of the forum to see if your topic has already been made, but we still don't need to be rude to people about it. Toastpaint. |

Ah tis not so bad.. An Admin or Mod can merge this with the original, and all will be well with the world. Ol' Disco Stu even posted here. On the topic of bad movies, I see that they're releasing some MST3K DVDs.. MST3K, for all of your "crappy B-Grade movie making fun of" needs. TOASTPAINT I watched one of the Twister remakes (why anyone would make the original is beyond me) last night. I think it was Atomic Twister, or something like that. What a CRAPTASTIC waste of film that was. I saw somewhere that someone is working on a "Category 7" movie, as if that "Category 6" wasn't dumb enough... GAH! |

And I demand an apology for being called a "jerky"! That put me in a bad mood! That would be like me calling you a dorky! How would you feel if I did that to you?! Eh, then again, I should probably just forget about it. What some grumpy guy says to me on the Internet shouldn't even matter anyway. |

Perhaps friendlier next time? Take Jitka's advice. BOT, I can't really say any movies I've been to that I can remember are bad. I hate horror films, though. |

i think, for me it's gotta be the animated version of the magic roundabout. i could have fallen asleep if it wasnt for my popcorn, to keep me awake.. possibly the worst popcorn i've ever had, due to the film. it's a bit of a catch 22 there. |

I saw Saw (hehe) at my friend's house, and it was terrible! It made no freakin' sense! All it had was people killing each other continuously! Normally, I like that, but only if the movie has a plot. |

Well, duh, it wasn't even Jason. It was some guy who had an obsession with eyes or something... And about Saw. My brother saw Saw 2, and knows plenty of the first He says something along the lines of "It's more deep. It's a psychological one for horror movies, something not found often. The one who is supposed to be the killer(Jigsaw) isn't even a bad guy, he's actually the victim. He doesn't want the people to die, they do it themsleves that is in a twisted version of "Surivial of The Fittest"." So it boils down to...something about psychological stuff. He didn't tell me too much, except one of the most memorable scenes from Saw 2 and a preview for it. If you saw Saw 2, you know the thing I'm talking about.
I have not seen any of these, I just like to research horror movies. Also, Super Babies(the first one) was pretty good, I guess. |
