The Shuffle isn't outdated. They still make that.

And we're not annoyed because we have outdated stuff, we're annoyed because we just bought an iPod, and now they make this cool "nano" thingy. And we probably would've bought the nano. Buh.

What do you people think about the new iTunes compatible Cell Phone?

Personally, I think this thing will flop. Majorly. But, that's my opinion.

They did away with the mini. Man, I am gonna lose some sleep over that.
What's so bad about this? Everyone wanted the Mini, and instead they'll get something way, way better.

Well, if you want to hear want I have to say about this...
The iPod mini was a fashion statement, and also iPod's number one seller. It held a thousand songs for the cheap $200. Now, the bring on this thing, and it holds five hundred songs for the same $200. Now, I know a lot of this is thrown in to the color screen, but, why would anybody want a color screen? Sure, it's good looking, but it also significantly slices battery life. Fourteen hours? The mini's battery life was 18 hours.
The iPod mini had a elegant, but simple design. This thing looks like it was developed by a bunch of chimps. The button scheme makes it very similar to the Shuffle-very small, and cramped. Your whole thumb will cover the entire wheel! Personally, I hope it does really poorly, forcing Apple to bring back the mini's.
Sorry if I disappointed you. These are my opinions on the iPod nano.

Whoa. iKi. Everything I wanted to say and more.

Great jorb.

I don't know of anyone else, but if THE iPod guru of the Forum gives a thumbs down to the Nano, chances are it can't be any good. ;)

I don't really see too much of a need for an iPod myself, period. I've heard too many horror stories of how they break down too easily, and it's way too much of a hassle to get batteries in them replaced. Right now, I'm content with my burned MP3 CD's for longer trips.

The phone itself is $250 (ouch!) but I'm not sure about the plan.

umm.. ur horror stories were made by some reckless teenagers(such as me) who either kept banging it on the desk to get it to open, or droped it way to many times. and u dont need to replace them till after 500,000 recharges, or so. and no, they dont break down easily unless those things i suggested.

When I saw the commercials for it during te football game, I just wanted to bash the T.V. screen in. Of course, the T.V. is big, and I love it, so instead, I just printed a picture of it and shredded it.
DIE iPod nano!!!

No offense, man, but...get over it.

For real. It's not a big deal. You'll survive. And if you don't, feel free to haunt me. OK?

Okay. I'm sorry.
Guys and gals, don't listen to me. If you want the nano, go ahead and get one. I won't stop you.
I...just...don't like them...

Wikipedia said 500 charge cycles, unless I read wrong.

I haven't even gone through 1 charge cycle with my Shuffle. It's that new.

Although I believe iPods undermine the whole record system that the music industry had build up, I do have to admit that they're cool. I might get this new one.

Or I might not. I'm not a huge music fan.

The iPod Nano looks really cool. I was thinking of just getting the iPod Shuffle, but I think I will get the Nano.

Hey, I agree. I don't see the need to boost the cost for the mere need of a colour screen... although I won't be getting an iPod any time soon, I'll probably see if I can't score a Mini, myself. Helps that it looks better. The Nano is cool and sleek... but a bit on the dull side, anyone agree?

Anyway, next time I get a portable music device, it will be an iPod. They don't make working CD players anymore...
