Post subject:  Cell Phone Ringtones
So I just got a cell phone, and I'm trying to decide between the Zelda theme and the Degrassi Jr. High theme for a ringtone. And it got me to thinking, what kind of cool ringtones do you guys have?

I don't have a cell phone, but if I did, I can tell you I'd have the Mario Bros. ringtone. I've heard it, and it's awexome.

Mine's the Pixies' "Here Comes Your Man", one of those songs whose guitar line is caught in my head on an almost constant basis, so I figured a ringtone of it would do nicely. I guess I'll stick with it for awhile, at least until I can figure out how to make a ringtone out of one of my own songs. :p

I don't have a cell phone, but I'm going to use The Exorcist theme, the Super Mario Bros. theme, and the Shawn Michaels (a wrestler) theme.

Arrrrrrrg. Ringtones be one of my pet peeves. I really don't give a care how loud you can blast "Toxic" on their cell phones while on the bus. But I'd go with the Stinkoman K theme. Or maybe one the Stinkoman Game songs, those make great ringtones.

Try mobile17, thought I'm not sure if it works in Canadia.

Anyway, the problem with ringtones is that nobody will ever be impressed by your ringtone except you. Ever.

That and it makes your phone dance.

When mine isn't on silent, it is on the most basic ringtone on my phone.

Like BTG, mine is a basic "ring, ring" kinda tone.. I just can't get into having anything super special... I have used them, but I always migrate back to the standard ring.
Some of my previous ringers include "The A-Team Theme", "Western KY University's Fight song" and "the Sanford and Son theme"

I have been trying so hard to find ANY Final Fantasy ringtone at ALL, preferably the Costa Del Sol theme from FFVII, but it seems I'm utterly unable to find anything but crappy modern "music" on the phone's browser. So I'm stuck with Beethoven. ;)

I've composed a few on my own. So far I've done the Final Fantasy Chocobo melody, the Metal Gear Solid theme, the Harry Potter theme, and the CGNU Fight Song. I use MGS theme for calls, and CGNU Fight Song for texts. Not that I ever get either (as it's a phone just for emergencies) but they're still fun! I'm gonna be composing "Desperado" by The Eagles for my mom soon, too. If anyone wants the keys for the tones, just ask. :)

I did that to make the WKU fight song for my old phone with the mono ringtones. Then, I found it on the internet as Ohio University's (not THE Ohio State University) fight song.. Had I known that, it woulda cost me a dollar, but it woulda saved me about 15-20 minutes or so.

If I actually had a reason to get a cell phone and could have any ringtone I wanted, I'd probably switch between Kefka's theme from FF6 and the openings to New Millennium and Learning to Live by Dream Theater. Not so I could go around and show off to people, saying, "Check out my awesome ringtone, isn't it so impressive?" No, just because I think those would be cool to have. But I'll probably never get a cell phone, so it doesn't matter.

I've just got the normal briing-briing ringtone. I can't stand ringtones...

Plus I'm probably the only one that actually uses "briing-briing", so I always know when it's my phone that's going off :)

Kefka's theme! I wanted that, but there's only so many notes you can use on my phone (an older model). All the accidentals would take a long while to compose, too.

Anyway, you rock for wanting it. It's an awesome song. FF6 forever!

Crazy Frog? That thing is about the most annoying thing I've ever heard, as if cell phones aren't annoying enough (yes, I have one, it's cheaper than a regular land line, cus I use a lot of Long Distance)...
Numa Numa is slighty less annoying that Crazy Frog....
