I've never seen it, but I've seen a review where I posted the link somewhere...in all honestly, they barely used stuff from the series, but it was sorta good.

But hey, this is the same guy that said Goonies was good.

Ugh, not a Doom movie... It shall fail horribly. Just watch and see. The movie crashing and burning will be more entertaining than the movie itself.

Hey! It might not be THAT bad. I mean, they could always add a couple of robots and a Cheesehead.

well, as the Unoficial Guru Of DOOM and all DOOM Related things, i say that It will be okay, i mean... when i saw that Pinkey and the Imps on the trailer, i just yealed out "PINKY!", it should be awesome, but if its not, i could always go back to making the Doom movie i was working on.

I still think they shouldn't have put The Rock in there.
Karl Urban's okay though. Wow, I guess being in LOTR made him popular.

Well, maybe not that good. But man, it doesn't deserve all the scathing reviews everyone gives it.

I guess that'd be easier for the viewers to understand. Isn't DOOM 3 set on Mars anyway?

yeah, but they were planning on setting it on some other place, and it also turns out that it does involve the UAC(Union Aerospace Corperation). but one thing puzzles me: are they going to have a scene where the Doom Guy(lets call him DG) ends up getting into hell? i mean, that part of the game was awesome. wait.... i think i have it all figured out now....... they think it was all because of the human genome that they cracked that caused everyone to become zombies, but it turns out that hell itself did come through the teleporter that they were working on let out the demons, cause i mean, really, you cant become an Imp or a Pinky through mutation, unless you were 8 feet tall, had six eyes, or had artificial legs.

they were orrigionally just called Demons, but for the Doom 3 game, every monster that wasnt a Zombie was considered a demon, so they had to rename it. they decided to name it something weird and unusual, so they called it Pinky. ill put up all the monsters pictures and descriptions later. The Doom Guru Away!

It's gonna be R, if not, a good chunk of the violence would be offscreen or simply implied.

And since when are you the official Doom Type Guy of the wiki forum? :P

Yeah, but, I mean, even like, Vin Deisel would be better than the Rock.

Nah, The Rock can be a good actor when he wants to. Scorpion King was pretty good. Well, I thought it was pretty good. It could have been for the reason I like some movies that I "KNOW" are going to be horrible, but are better than I expect, so they seem good.
I still think Dennis Haysbert shoulda been in this movie.

I would have rather seen a Duke Nukem movie than Doom, but, tis all good.

I would rather see Duke Nukem Forever comeout in my lifetime. But that's just me. As for The Rock, while he may not be the greatest actor ever, in some roles such as The Scorpion King, he can play it really well.

Umm...from what I understand, you're 13 or 14 years old, I *highly* doubt you've been playing Doom since the age of 3.

highly doubt that i havent been playing it since then???? i have been playing it all of my life since when it came out, my father brought home the disk, we loaded it onto our old macintosh computer(that were still paying off from sears), and we had a blast playing the Tower of Babael level with the Cyberdeamon, so dont go saying i shouldnt be the doom guru, cause i can school all of y'all when it comes to doom!

Actually, I agree with Tangy. It's really unlikely that you've been playing since 3, and I doubt you could remember that long ago. Perhaps you had an old copy that you used to play.

no, i think it was more around '95, ohh yeah, i remember, it was, my old, old, old copy of doom says 'Doom95' on the splash screen, then gain all of them say that, but i do tell you that i have been playing it all of my life, and do infact know more about it, so any questions about doom, or the doom movie?

Yeah, is there room for more than one Doom guru?

Oh, Doom95 came out in 1996. And it certainly wasn't for Macs. For that matter, MacDoom sucked.
