I don't think this has been posted before; I'm sorry if it has.

What is a wierd fear you have? Mine is of crows, ravens , and other large black birds. I think they just ooze malice, and I get the jibblies when one of them looks at me. Jib-a-lay.

And "The Birds" was on CBC last night. Now I wish I hadn't watched it.

Just fixed yer spelling. -MHG

I have a semi-phobia of heights. It's nothing uncontrollable or anything, they just...bug me...

Zombies too. Especially fast-moving zombies.

Me too. I can't really stand them. Then my boss makes my climb on the 20 foot ladder to clean something. And the Ladder is about 30 years old and about one nudge from falling apart. Doesn't really elp my fears.

I wouldn't call it a "Weird" fear, but I don't like bees or spiders. At all.

The same, however I don't mind bees that much.

I can't figure out why people are afraid of spiders. Most of them are perfectly harmless.

I'm fine with spiders. I let spiders crawl all over me. But I absolutely cannot stand bees. It used to be worse, but if I can even see a bee from where I'm standing, I run away until I can't see it anymore. Then there's usually another one. It used to be so bad that I literally never went outside during the summer. Ever.

My worst fear is by far, wasps. I've had several bad encounters with them and they hurt.

When I was really, really young, I had a completely irrational fear of the Dukes Of Hazzard theme song. Don't ask why - I have NO idea either! There must be some weird traumatic thing I experienced as a child or in a past life associated with that...

I'm not really sure about current weird fears, but chances are they'd probably involve food I dislike, since I'm the most notoriously picky eater I know, by far.

People find it weird that I'm afraid of roller-coasters.

I hate spiders. I don't mind bees. Even though in fifth grade I had a swarm of thousands fly above my head. ( That's the type of thing that Would give people phobias, but it cured mine. )

For me, I'm both.

Anyway, besides the heights and falling thing, I am also scared of total darkness. I'm also scared of insects, arachnids(sp?), the sight of blood, and death. I am scared of more things than that, but that's all I can think of now.

EDIT: Oh, the DS Siren noise that says the other players are out of reach in wireless modes. (shivers at the sound of Mario 64 DS shutting down like that on him that time)

Spam. Not the kind that people post on forums and stuff, I'm talking about the spicy meat by-product sold in cans.

Oh, and snakes. I have severe snake-aphobia. Which is interesting, since my favorite part of the St. Louis Zoo was the reptile house.

I am not a huge fan of heights either. I remember when I went to Mt. Pliatus in Luzerne, Switzerland. I was in the gondola going up to the summit and I clung to the center pole and looked at the floor.

Heights don't bother me none. Well, I guess if I was on the outter ledge on the top of a skyscraper, it would bother me. But normally, no problemo.

But ants. I'm not scared of them, but I hate them for than anything.

Too many fire ants bite. And a bunch of ants attacked my family's house one year. Whole lines of ants crawling along the wall behing the computer. Having to hide the cereal in the fridge. Can't leave the cat food out too long. It was very bad. And now I hate them.

If I see one in my house... *squish*

Oh, another ridiculous fear of mine is walking past computers at night. Like if I'm coming down the stairs from having brushed my teeth, and the computer is still on but the monitor's off, I run all the way back to bed.

From worst fear to least fear:
1. It's on but I can't see the screen
2. It's off
3. It's on and I can see the screen.

JIBBLY!

I fear people with weird and erratic fears. No seriously. I once sat next to someone who was afraid of bugs, and this teensy weensie spider crawled on the table.

I had a heart attack when she screamed her lungs out.....

Yeah, I don't like them either. When I see a spider, it's usually at the recieving end of my the rolled up ESPN the Magazine. If I see a bee, I'll swat it outta the sky. If I see a Spiderbee though, I'ma running like a school girl.

i dont like rollercoaster that your life relys on (like, it holds you upside down)
like, has anyone been on ripsaw at alton towers- it's the one that squirts water at you for no reason. i was too scared to scream.

i also have a fear of someone breaking into my house. when i was at my dad's i was alone in the house, and i thought i heard someone knocking on the conservatory door, but i stayed where i was. then i thought i heard footsteps, so i closed the door, and sat against it for about 25 minutes. i was petrified.

I have no phobias, I think. Okay, I do hate homework, but who doesn't?

When I was a little kid, I hated buttons. Yes. Buttons. Not that I was afraid off them, they were just 'eww'.

I think I've mentioned this somewhere before, but I have an irrational fear of the Glad Man. You know, that creepy white-haired guy on the commercials. I don't know why, but I've always been scared of him. They tell me that it's now a different Glad Man than the one from when I was a kid, but I wouldn't know as I haven't looked at him for more than a split second for about 20 years. There was a teacher at my high school that looked like him, and I would go the other way when he was walking down the hall.
