Wait, you didn't have beer. How can you have bratwurst but no beer?

Because it is not usually wise for a priestly man to get a wee bit on the drunk side.

More precisely, it was because all they had was Miller Lite (ugh!) In my book, if it has the following letters in the name--l, i, t, e--then it's not beer.

We actually soak the brats in beer before grilling them, though.

I'm going out there some more later today. But I can't stay all day. I have to go back to Greenville and do some more preparation for their service tomorrow.

I was working at Pizza Hut today, and for lunch I had this pasta alfredo type dish with vegetables and chicken, which I made myself in the giant industrial oven. Yum.

And in about two hours, I'ma be heading to Olive Garden. Double yum.

At this very moment, I am eating frozen peas straight from the bag. They're actually really good.

A delicious grilled Bratwurst, leftover from the Cleveland Oktobeerfest.

Definitely. My friend's brother entered a nugget eating contest there, and won, and for my birthday, gave me eight of his coupons for free nuggets. Yum. They have the best chicken. And I hear their sweet tea is good, too.

Anyway, I just ate some sugar cookies. Really good sugar cookies, at that.

There aren't any Chick-Fil-A's around where I live. We barely have Arby's.

Anyhow, I did end up going to Olive Garden tonight. Got the stuffed chicken marsala. 'Twas good. Real good.

mmmmm... roast beast..

That's the "Subway Club".. I used to get that almost every day my freshman year (they had a list of subs you could get on the "meal plan", and that was the only one on there that I really liked, until they added the BMT to the list, then, all bets were off)

I never really liked the BMT. Or the Cold Cut Trio. Not a big bologne fan. But I used to love those Snake and Cheese sammiches. And the Meatballs. These days, I usually get Grilled Chicken.

They stopped selling the best sub they ever mad. Barbecued chicken was teh awesome. My roommate and I would go on BBQ chicken sub binges.. I'd be like "what'd you get?" Then Jeremy would be "OMG BBQ CHICK!" Then I'd be all "OMG OMG!! ROFL LOL OMG!!11!!1111!oneone!!1!!eleven!!"

Well, ok, so we didn't go that far, but barbecued chicken subs were just short of a diety to us.

MMMmmm, wings. Maybe I'll eat that for dinner tonight.

I really should be eating light, though. A much weight as I lost these past few months, I gained most of it back during Oktobeerfest.

Me feels your pain. StrongRad + free barbecue, bratwursts, and burgers at various alumni tents at homecoming + free extra cold ones = goodbye weightloss

Eh, you just got to let yourself go and just have fun. It won't stay forever.

Trying to lose weight doesn't help, because you need the calories o burn them. Just eat normally, and excersise, and you'll be fine.

And if you worry about it... "shakes fist"

I'm shaking my fist a lot today.

Quite fun, quite fun.
