So, is anyone getting one of these? 15,000 songs!

I really want one, though I'm sort of sad to see all iPods gone except for this and the nano.

I think this thing is hawt (it even has TV out), but what I'm most jazzed about is the new iMac G5 and FrontRow. *shivers*

Dang it. Apple's been throwing me a 1-2 punch-thing.

First the Nano and now this. The thing is, what is watching a video on that screen like? I imagine its a pain in the eyes.

I'll stick with my CDplayer instead of trying to keep up with technology, cuz, like, I'll have to buy some technollogy type dealie every 10 weeks, I juat don't want to use my money to buy anything-a-lingie-ding-dong

I laugh at those who bought an iPod Nano, only because I felt obsolete when I bought a shuffle right before the nano came out.

Just so we're clear on this, the new iPod is exactly as wide and tall as the previous generation, but thinner. It does appear wider in the promo shots just because of the screen proportions, but when you're actually holding it in your hand and have some context, it's probably a different story.

But seriously, you actually expect them to hold off for nine months? I give them six. That's business, folks. Say you buy a nice, brand new iPod. It plays music, it looks shiny, only a few people roll their eyes at your passé white earbuds, and you love it.

Then the next day, Apple releases a brand new version of the iPod. So the heck what? Um, hello, you still have a shiny iPod that plays music and people still roll their eyes at you just like they did yesterday. Exactly how, I'd like you to explain, were you disadvantaged by the release of this awful new iPod?

weird how they never showed the price on the description there (probably like, $15,000) anyways, I agree that they should hold off for atleast 9 months before they send the Ipod the way of the Rocky movies (you know, that boxer dude?)

Yeah, iTunes 6 is awesome! I don't like the 5th generation iPod just because it's too wide. I know they were trying to make the screen wider, but still.

No, the screen is just larger, making the whole thing look bigger. There was plenty of room in the 4G iPod to increase the screen to the size it is now.
