I just saw the Neil Gaimen / Dave McKean movie Mirror Mask, and it was visually amazing. Have any of you seen it?

Visually amazing? So was Armageddon, but that doesn't mean it was worth seeing.

I really want to see MirrorMask, but can you tell us if it's actually, y'know, any good?

It makes Labyrinth look like Sesame Street.

The only negative was that the dialog was a bit cliché, but it's a fantasy film geared to a younger crowd than I'm used to. If you like Neil Gaimen and Dave McKean, then you will like it.

Ugh. I've been waiting for this movie for sooooooo long, and I doubt it'll ever come to my teeny town. But I'm really intrigued, as I love both Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean. His Sandman covers make me weak in the knees.
