I love animutations, especially the Colin Mochrie vs. Jesus H. Christ Trilogy. Those have some really awesome music.

You've gotta love the originals, too, especially Hyakugojyuuichi. That one started it all.

But my favorite is Earth vs. Funk.

Oh, and here's the link to the actual site.

that stuff scares the crpa out of me. I can stand those 2004 election ones Jib-Jab did just because they were so funny, but otherwise it's a big Jibbly...er.

I like forehead shavecut, but animutation isnt just about being random.

I still like the japanese pokerap, even though it was the first animutation. Neil was the best animutation artist. I hate andrew kepple, because he takes so much of neil's material, yet he says that newgrounds steals. What's with that?

I believe I made a thread about arfenhouse a while ago. You might like it. A lot.

It's got some bad language and themes, but it is excellent.

There are others, which are linked to on that page. In fact, there is a strong bad reference at the end of the 4th one.

Aka, Lemon Demon, for those who don't know. He did The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny (which has a permanent place in my MP3 player), and the Potter Puppet Pals. In summary, he rocks.

I don't really like animutations, they're too stupid.

I sure hope I won!

I don't like animutations, as alot of them are really badly animated, and flash artists use them as an "easy route" for making videos.

After having seen the Brackenwood stuff, I have no respect for animutation...

Soooo, I take it you have never tried animating before. Animutations (good ones) take way longer than the average animation.

Take homestar for example. All TBC have to do is lip sync a few symbols to sound, and move the characters and scenery around (I wonder if they use v-cam?).

Now on the other hand, there are animutations. You need to do lots of photo editting. You need to do tons of tweens, lip syncing (without symbols), create original art, often make it move to the beat of some song, and often add tons of text.

As already mentioned, there are many exceptions. Brackenwood, for example, is perhaps the best flash work ever made, and if not, it is definitely the best made by one person.

My point: animutation ≠ easy. I dont care who likes them, but they do take just as much work.

Well, I always liked this one....

And these ones, of course.

And this one.

But nah, Animutations aren't my thing. I'd much rather see a proper Flash music video (i.e. not totally random and confusing and to a proper song in a language I can understand) than an Animutation.

I always enjoyed "We Drink Ritalin". I'm really not sure why, now that I think about it.
